Joey's POV

I woke up to my phone ringing, I groaned, I grabbed my phone from the night stand and checked what time it was

5:34am

"Fuck" I whispered trying not to wake up Sophia

I got up from the bed and gently kissing Sophia's forehead before I take the call

I walked over to the patio that was part of our room

It was an unknown number

"Hello?" I said more like a question

"Hey baby, you remember me?" Someone said thru the phone,that voice sounds familiar

"Joey are you there?" That voice who is it, lia(I made that up)

"Lia?" I asked "yes, you silly, that's me" she squealed, her voice tutored my ear

Lia 'was' my ex girlfriend , I broke up with her because she was super annoying, and one of those blonde chicks, that thinks there all that, but she never took the break up seriously, she thought it was all jokes, but it wasn't.

"Lia, leave me alone! We broke up" I whispered yell

"Mhmm" then I heard mumbling from our room, I looked back and see Sophia shuffling around the bed

"Babe I miss you so much!" She said thru the phone with excitement on her voice

"Lia, stop! I need to go and leave me alone" I said hanging up before she could say anything

When I went back into the room, I see Sophia sitting up

"Hey, who were you talking too?" She asked yawning

I laid down beside her pulling her into my chest "that was uhh... my mom" I shuttered

I was playing with her "ohh alright" she said "I'm gonna go back to sleep" she said closing her eyes "alright babe, I love you" I said kissing her forehead "I love you too" she said pulling her self up and she hid her face in the crook of my neck

Why does Lia have to ruin this trip! I need to get my mind off her! I love Sophia and I don't want to hurt her.

I tried going up back to sleep eventually I slept.

The next day~~

Sophia's POV

I heard Joey talking to someone early this morning and he was whisper yelling,I asked him who it was and he said, it was just his mom, I shrugged it off

I woke up to no one beside me, I pouted knowing Joey wasn't beside me

I sighed and grabbed my phone from the nightstand and there was a letter

I took and opened it

Goodmorning beautiful, Sorry I wasn't there when you wake up. The boys and I including john, planned a surprise for you and Sunny. Get ready into something cute and get ready for a scavenger hunt.
