Sakura's sister

Chapter 3

Yumi P.O.V

Living with Kakashi is great. The good thing is that he's young so he can play around sometimes. Once I stole his book and read it before he found me. Let's just say that I'm not so innocent anymore.

Today was the start of the Chunin exams I am so excited. I trained nonstop yesterday. I even fell asleep on the training grounds but father found me and brought me back home. I got a lecture but it was worth it in the end. "Hey big brother!" I said to a long haired white eyed boy. "Hello, Yumi you look happier than usual." Neji said. Neji was always a brotherly figure for me ever since I was 4. "Oh, yeah I forgot to tell you. I have a father now!" I said smiling. Neji's eyes widened. "Who is he? He better not be a pervert." Neji said. I scratched the back of my neck nervously. "You know him, he's my sensei. Kakashi." I said. Neji's eyes widened once again. "You two did act like father and daughter." Neji said smiling softly. "Is that Yumi?!" Lee yelled. "Hey Lee." I said. He ran up to me and hugged me tightly. I bit too tight, I couldn't breath. "Lee! Stop your suffocating her!" Neji yelled. Lee instantly let me go. I gasped for breath. "You idiot, she has a petite body she's not one of the guys." Neji scolded. "I'm fine... just.... a little.... out of.... breath.." I said in between gasps. "Sorry, Yumi. So how's my beautiful blossom!" Lee said smiling. "I'm great!" I said. "Yumi?!" Said the vocie of my father. I turned to see him. "Gosh, you wander off too much." Father said. I smiled. "What can I say, I admire my brother." I said. Neji messed up my hair. "You would think she would get mad at that." TenTen said. "Nope, my hair is just naturally like this, pretty badass." I said. "We're already late meeting the team. We have to go. Bye you three." Kakashi said. I quickly hugged the three and wished them good luck before I left. We were waiting to find out who we would fight. But since the second part of the exam Sasuke has been acting different, he's colder than usual. Here I thought we were making progress but apparently it was all in my mind! It hurts to know that all the good times I thought we had together he was probably faking the whole time. I was third to fight, with some kid named Shin Aki.

Yumi P.O.V
After the first two fights, it was my turn. I wasn't nervous at all, even if I was I wouldn't show it because that would be like showing your weekness. "Yumi you got this I know you'll win." Father said had on my sholder. I smirked, "I know." I said. While walking down the steps I heard a lot of "Yumi you got this!" And "This will be a peice of cake!" I got to the middle to see a boy with brown hair and black eyes. He looked fairly well built compared to me. "I don't like hitting girls but I don't really think you qualify as one." He said. "If you can't hit me then you'll surely will die in real life. But I doubt you will. For your sake I'll keep this short and sweet. Ok?" I asked rudely. The crowd 'oouuu'ed. "Tch, that's big talk for some so small." He said back.  "Oh sweetie, size has nothing to do with strength." I said in a mocking tone. "Are you ready to fight?" The proctor asked. We nodded looking closely at each other. "Ok.... Start!" He said a jumped off. Shin lunged at me but I stood exactly where I was waiting. When he was at the perfect spot I quickly flashed away and behind him and kicked him in his side. He flew over to one of the walls. I stood there hands in my pockets while Shin recovered. "Nice move. Guess you're not weak." He said. He ran as me again but faster. When he was close enough I kneed him in the stomach and quickly kicked him harder in his side. Shin coughed up blood when he hit the stadium wall hard enough to create a fairly large crator. Shin slid to the ground passed out. The stadium was silent. "Shin has been knocked out Yumi Hatake wins!" The proctor said. The crowd erupted into a roar of applause. I grinned. Then walked back to my seat with my team and father to see all my friends waiting for me. "That was awsome Yumi!" Naruto said. I smiled. "Being forced to Train with Gai actually helps quite a bit." I said. "Yumi my youthful Blossom! That was simply amazing. " Gai and Lee yelled running and hugging me. I was laughing and grinned like no tomorrow. They finally let go and Kakashi hugged me. We let go and I went to sit back down next to Sasuke. "Good job. " Sasuke said. "Thanks, I did say I was going to keep it short and sweet." I said "Yes, but that didn't look very sweet to me." Sasuke said. "He wanted to talk trash so I gave him a show." I said back. "Yeah, you showed to him to the hospital for a couple days." Sasuke said. I laughed.

The next battle was Sakura and Ino, "This will be a sad fight." I mumbled. "You said it." Sasuke said. "I think Ino's going to win." I stated. "Yumi, I know you don't like Sakura but she is still your sister. Have a little faith in her." Father said. "Come on dad, all she did in the academy was oogle at Sasuke." I said. "Can you blame her?" Sasuke asked sweat dropping. "Yes, I guess your right." Dad said. I smirked in victory.

Yumi P.O.V
In the end it was a tie. "How the hell do you fight Sakura and end up with a tie?!" I asked frustrated. "Ino has a clan bloodline trait and she didn't win! What the fuck?!" I asked frustrated. "Why are you getting so worked up over this?" Saskue asked. "Because it just doesn't make sense." I said rubbing my temples. "That's true but you need to calm down." Sasuke said. "Fine." I pouted.

Then the unexpected happened. The Sand betrayed the Leaf. "Oh hell no, this isn't happening! I'm gonna beat some major ass now!!" I yelled enraged. "If you will even survive that long." Sasuke mumbled. "Hey!" I said offended.

Yumi P.O.V

We won the unexpected fight against the Sand but sadly the Hokage died in the process. I loved that old man even if I didn't act like it.
