Victoria Santily

It's been a week since I've been living with Vincenzo a week since I haven't slept a full night. This week was filled with nightmares and every time I shut my eyes I fell into the dream full of terror.

While roaming around the house I found few papers which lead me to finding out that Vincenzo is his last name and Elijah was his actual name.

Living with Elijah wasn't bad, though it wasn't wanted either. He wasn't all that terrible, he did try, but he did lash out a lot.

And here I was now sitting in the huge dinning hall, my head resting on my palm and I was slowly drifting to sleep as Elijah talked away. "Victoria!" He suddenly yelled, making me jolt awake. "What?" I asked groggy.
"Are you listening?" He asked back, he didn't sound annoyed like he usually would, this time he sounded concerned and confused. "Sorry, what were you saying?" I asked him rubbing my eyes.

Come on vic you got this. I tried to motivate myself.

"I was saying that you seem really tired and I wanted to ask if something was bothering you." He said and I opened my mouth to answer, but he didn't give me a chance to do so as he cut me off. "If it's about you staying with me, I know this isn't ideal and I'm sorry you had to be involved in this, but it happened and we can't do anything about it now." He stated before adding: "and I can't let you go if you thought that, you know where I live and this is not save for me or you." He finished and I nodded, before I finally opened my mouth to speak. "No its not that, though I'd prefer not living here. I just haven't been sleeping well-" I just myself off before I could start ranting about the stupid nightmares, but he obviously couldn't just drop it and had to ask "is there a reason for that?" His voice was full of concern, which confused me. Why was he bothered about this? "Nightmares." I answered simply and he nodded slowly.

He then walked over to where I was seated and lifted me from my chair. "Wha-what are y-you doing?" I suttered out, wrapping my arms around his neck for support.
"Taking you to bed." He started and I rolled my eyes in annoyance. Was he stupid or was he must pretending? "I can't sleep were you listening?!" I snapped and my eyes widened.

The lack off sleep was getting to me. I was snappy to the point where I snapped at everyone and everything no matter what. Last night I yelled at Samuel for being too quiet, today it was Elijah and belive me when I say Elijah is much more terrifying than Sam.

"Mouth. Again sweets. You need to watch how you speak to me." He stated calmly. "I'm only letting you off because you are tired, but if this is going to happen again you ARE going to get punished. Understood?" He asked and I nodded. "Words!" He barked out.
"Yes master." I squeaked in fear.

This week Elijah was nice to me, well mostly because I didn't get to see him that much. He was been busy with whatever criminal gang leaders do and we'll I was exploring the house.

I felt myself grow sleepy once again and I let my head fall into Eliajh's chest. I felt Elijah sigh and that was the last thing before everything went entirely black.

...

I woke up after what felt like seconds when I felt soft material underneath me. Panic took over my body and as a reflex I jumped up in fear, but two strong arms held me down.

"Breathe sweets you're okay, it's juts a bed. Close your eyes and try to go back to sleep." His voice was calming and I let myself relax. "Good girl now close your eyes. You're going to be fine, I'm just next door." He said and was about to walk away when panic took over once more and I grabbed his wrist. "Stay?" I whispered, my eyes were begging for him to agree.

I saw something flash through his eyes, but I couldn't tell which emotion it was. He sighed  "fine." He mumbled and kicked off his shoes before laying next to me.

I still wasn't a fan of him, but he somehow managed to make me feel safe.

I turned away feeling awkward as ever and closed my eyes attempting to fall asleep.

...

It been half an hour and I couldn't manage to let myself fall into the darkness. I was twisting and turning and I felt it starting to bother him.

"Stop." He said gorggily, making me freeze in my spot and he hovered over me.
"I told you I can't sl-" he cut me off with a glare.
"Shut up. Close your eyes. Stop moving." He commanded and got off, before pulling me closer to him and holding me tightly in my place.

I felt his fingers tangle into my hair as he gently played with it, while his other hand was drawing gentle circles on my palm. "Relax, you are fine." He whispered soothingly and I felt myself slowly drift away.

This is the shortest chapter in the existence of short chapters, but this is just a filler since I haven't updated in like forever! So hey...
