A/N: Hiiiiiiiiiiii~~ here's chapter 2~~~~ the last one is a bit too long, I'll make it shorter this time~~ please enjoy~~~~~

It was after dinner now. Soifon just finished her tour around the dining hall and had food with her new roommates. After the long first day at her new school, Soifon, who'd been taking a rest in her bed for about ten minutes after they returned from the dining hall and looking at Rangiku and Hiyori playing video games on their cellphones, decided to get up and finish her homework for today.

She got her bag, got to her desk, and pulled out all her homework from her bag. "What should I do first?" She thought, looking at the four workbooks lying on the desk before her eyes. "Five pages of calculus, an historical article to read, three pages of English, and four pages of physics..." She muttered to herself, and decided to do the hardest calculus work first and leave the article for bedtime reading.

"Ohh, homework." Yoruichi said, hanging on the handle of her bed upside down, her purple hair swinging in midair. "Don't you have homework too, Yoruichi-san?" Soifon said, not looking up from her workbook, her right hand, holding a pencil, was moving rapidly on the paper.

"Yeah of course, but who gives a damn about that? I can't even remember the last time I really did my homework properly." She said, and started laughing. "You know, watching you reminds me of our ex-roomate." Rangiku said, looking down from her bunk bed.

"Really?" Soifon said a bit absent-mindedly, finishing the first part of her homework. "Yeah, there once was a crazy kid called Kusajishi Yachiru." Rangiku said, and Hiyori let out a yell that sounded pretty much like a monkey. "What now?" Nelliel asked as she came out of the bathroom, drying her hair with the towel Yoruichi tossed to her earlier.

"Don't ever mention that name in front of me! Ano bakemono!" Hiyori shouted. "She's at the age of nine and she's already skipped junior high and got in our school! God you could've never imagined a little girl who always plays all day but still gets full marks on every subject!" Hiyori shouted. "You have no idea how many pranks and practical jokes she played on me last year!" Hiyori said irritably, gritting her teeth.

"Kusajishi Yachiru... that somehow rings a bell..." Soifon thought, her eyes reading the lines in the questions of her English homework. "I think I know her." Soifon said, and Hiyori and Rangiku both gaped at her.

"She was in our school and in my class. We weren't close friends but sometimes we talked, that's all." She said, pausing to think about the answer to a long question.

"That must be horrible." Hiyori muttered after a few seconds of silence. "Being in the same class with her, that little monster." She added bitterly. "You could say that again." Rangiku said, sighing. "Why does God give those people such extraordinary abilities?" She said, pouting.

"That's not true. God always opens a window for you when he closes one of your doors. Look at that body you got." Nelliel said with a rather amusing look on her face. "Guess you're right." Rangiku said. "Hey, that doesn't seem to apply to everyone, does it??" Hiyori shouted, pointing at herself.

"That's not true," Rangiku said, mimicking Nelliel's tone. "God gave you this really unabashed personality so you can lash out at anyone you want, even if that person is the first in the year and you're the fifth to the last." Rangiku said, and both she and Nelliel burst out laughing.

Listening to that completely meaningless, at least to Soifon, conversation, she sighed and looked back up at Yoruichi. "Just like our class, they're all nice people. You just need time to get used to it." She said, grinning widely, still hanging upside down.

Soifon sighed, smiled, and returned to doing her homework. Yoruichi leaped off her bed and opened the window. "I'll go for a walk." She said, jumped out the window, and disappeared in the darkness.
