I could hear the commotion on deck and was really starting to wonder what was going on. It must have been Mal's rescue and if it wasn't, well, it was a chance for escape. I grabbed the bars of the cage door and shook it, it rattled but obviously stayed shut. I looked down at my shadow for help. She pointed to my bag. I must have had something to pick a lock with inside it.

I dug around in my bag and found some Bobby pins. I could try to pick the lock, but that's something I've never done. If I needed to unlock a door, my shadow would just slip under the door and unlock it from the other side. But, that obviously wasn't an option anymore. So, I stuck my hands through the bars and just jammed two pins that I'd straighted out into the lock. I moved them around, listening for the tell tale click.

I finally heard the door open, but it wasn't the door I expected it to be. The door to the room swung open and a boy I didn't recognize walked in. He wore baggy pants with a crotch that was way to low and a vest, giving off an Agrabah vibe.

"What do you think you're doing?" the Aladdin boy demanded. I immediately dropped the pins.

"I'm doing my hair, don't you see my Bobby pins that you made me drop," I said sarcastically.

He didn't say anything as he walked towards me. I saw him reach for a knife that was strapped inside of his vest. I grabbed his wrist before he could pull it on me.

"Your quick, but I'm much faster," I sung out which caused him to snarl at me. I twisted the knife out of his hand and tossed it into the air. He backed away, like any sane person would when there's and airborne knife. I grabbed it as it came back down. Luckily, I found my fingers wrapped around the handle. Well mostly, two of them had curled hard around the blade and had started bleeding.

"Not very fun when the shoes on the other foot," I said and I clumsily sliced at the boy's arm and missed, my movements being restricted by the opening my arm was in.

"Not very fun," he agreed as he caught my wrist and twisted the knife from my grasp. He, then, pulled my arm so I was up against the bars of the cage.

I groaned in pain as he pulled so hard that my shoulder felt like it had came out of the socket. He twisted the knife in his hand and glared at me menacingly. He cut my forearm where it was closest to him, never letting me gain any slack in my arm. I attempted to pull away from him, causing my shoulder to hurt more and his grip on my wrist to tighten.

I heard whistling just before the door opened. The Aladdin boy's head snapped away from me to look behind him. There stood Harry Hook, whistling all the while staring down the Aladdin boy.

"Now, what is it that you think you're doing?" Harry grabbed the boy's vest and talked into his ear, "because a certain Uma would be a bit disappointed to see some damaged goods."

"Ah, alright," he growled and released my arm. I immediately stumbled back and grabbed my shoulder. The Aladdin boy cast a murderous look at me just before he exited the room.

"Now, come on then, love," Harry pulled out a key and stuck it into the cage door's lock.

"What?" I asked confused, he was just going to let me go?

"Uma needs you on deck, now. Your the backup plan," Harry explained as the cell door swung open.

"And why would I want to help Uma?" I asked, this time only trying to gather as much information as I could.

"Because, it means you get out of here safely, love. With no more men attacking you when they've been sent to retrieve you." he sneered, it seemed it was at the thought of the Aladdin boy who he had saved me from, purposely or not.

"And what if I don't want to leave?" I smiled a wicked grin at him.

"Get along now, we don't have very much time to waste," Harry said as he gripped both of my wrists in his hand.

As I pondered what he meant by time to waste, Harry lead me out of the room I'd been kept in and down a few hallways. We eventually came toa set of stairs, and which lead to another hallway with a door at the end.

We emerged from the last door on the deck. I looked around and saw Ben tied up and standing on the plank with Gil standing guard. Mal and the girl who I now knew was Uma were standing on the boardwalk. Behind Mal: Jay, Carlos, Evie and Lonnie were scattered across the dock.

"Give me Ben!" Mal yelled in Uma's face.

Harry left me in the hands of another girl with ratty blonde hair and a purple paletted dress. She spun me around and tied my wrists behind my back. When I she turned me back so I was facing the deck, I saw Harry had skipped over to King Ben and pushed him over to Uma's side.

"I want Ben!" Mal yelled again and I felt a pang in my heart for fear that she'd forgotten about me. I noticed her hand was extended towards Uma with a stick in it. Wait, was that a wand?

The girl I stood with shut to door I'd just come out of, making a loud noise that rang through the quiet tension. Mal's head shot up and a look of guilt covered her face. She must have actually forgotten I was here, too.

"You've got your king," Uma never turned to look at me, but she talked like she knew everything that was unfolding behind her, "and only your king!" she snatched the wand from Mal and Harry pushed Ben into Mal.

"No! Give us Pandora!" Evie screeched, while Mal, who'd been doing all the talking, stood silent. She looked as if she had been caught off guard and stood there with her eyes wide and mouth open.

"It's to late, now," Harry said, I could hear the disappointment in his voice.

"By the power of the sea, tear it down and set us free," Uma waved the wand in the air and her pirate friends cheered behind her.

When nothing happened she started to shriek, "You do not get to win everytime!" she yelled at Mal, who had started to run off with Ben. "Take her back inside!" Uma had turned and pointed at me. The girl holding me captive pushed me back into the doorway I had just emerged and I was once again isolated from everyone.
