Why, Her?

Nothing, Special..

I've decided to ride around the neighborhood. Plus that means I'll be home pretty quick & dad won't get worried

I rode my bike on the sidewalk. There wasn't that many people outside today. Odd I kinda thought days like this you'd see kids playing outside.

Or joggers passing by.

Well it's whatever...

I just kept riding around the neighborhood enjoying the warm weather.

And sun shining on me.

But then I heard barking. I looked around but on the farther side. Of sidewalk I see brown wooden fence.

I shook my head in relief and kept pedaling. But. I could see the dog following me I wasn't too worried since the fence is what is dividing us

So I just smiled at the dog. But I guessed that pissed it of more?

I shrugged & pedaled a little faster  but in the corner of my eye I saw the dog trying to jump over the fence

It was a freaking Great Dane and hopped one more time. And started running after me

Benny: holy shit!

I was freaking out. So I was wobbling on my bike as I'm trying to pedal away from it.

For starters I'm not afraid of dogs. But Large angry looking dogs.. Well that's different!

I looked back and saw it right on my tail.  But when it started to try  biting my seat I was screaming & pedaling like there was no tomorrow!

Benny: Oh my skillet!

Benny: Oh sweet baby Jesus someone help

I heard something hop out the pushes
And everything slowed down

When the dog was about to pounce on me. Someone hopped out of brushes with a wood plank

And smacked the dog

It was so close! I looked back once again it was..

Benny: Mrs Monroe?

I wasn't paying attention to where I pedaling & hit stop sign & fell off my bike

I immediately started groaning in pain

And Paulina ran towards me

Paulina: You alright Benny?

Benny: aghh think so?

I wipe my eyes

Benny: why is there two of Paulina I never knew you had a twin sister

Paulina: Get yourself together Benny! Stop slurring on your words!

She smacked my face

Benny: Ow!

Benny: what was that for?

Paulina: when ever you see double. You got smack some sense into people

I rubbed my cheek

Benny: that hurt though..

Paulina: Man up!

I got up from the concrete floor & picked up my bike.

Benny: what are you even doing here?

Paulina: well. I heard someone called my name. While I was  on my daily
strolling

Benny: you're name?

'Sweet baby Jesus" no wait that doesn't make any sense

I just shrugged it off
