Chapter 13

In my meeting we were talking about my roles and what would happen if I took the role.
"So, Jessica, if you take this role.. you'd be in Canada for two weeks and then back on LA for five. That would happen seven times." Roberto, the Riverdale director asked.
"I know, Roberto." I said.
"Ok.." he whispered.
"But, what role would I be playing, exactly." I said.
"You'd be playing JellyBean Jones. Jugheads sister" he said.
"Oh my gosh!!" I said.
"Jess, you have to do it!" Madelaine exclaimed.
"I don't really care about this but how many episodes would I be in?" I asked.
"All twenty four." He admitted.
"Ok. I'm gonna think about it." I said, standing up.
"Ok Jessica!" Roberto exclaimed.
"You have till Tuesday." Georgie said "... to make your decision"
"Ok! So I have five days?" I asked.
"Yes." Roberto said.
"Ok." I said.
Madelaine stood up with me.
"Wanna go get Lunch?" She asked, as we walked out of the office.
"I'd love that." I said.
All of a sudden, I got a call from Kj and Cole.
"Hey, Kj's calling." I told Madelaine.
K) Hey! I heard about your meeting. Are you gonna take the role?
J) I don't know. I have five days to figure it out.
K) nice! What are you doing?
J) Mads and I are going to Lunch. You?
K) I'm hanging out with Cole.
J) y'all wanna come have lunch with us.
K) yea, drop a pin.
J) gotchu. See you later.
"Who was that?" Madelaine asked.
"Kj, him and Cole are gonna have lunch with us. If that's okay." I said.
"That sounds great!" She said, happily.
"Great!"

Madelaine and I sat down at four person table on the street corner at a cute cafe.
We saw Kj and Cole walking down the street.
"Hey boys!" I exclaimed.
"Hey Jess!"
"Hey Hey Jessie!"
I hugged them both and closed my eyes with a huge smile plastered on my face.
"How's life with Team 10?" Cole asked, smiling as the two boys sat down across from us.
"It's great! Their my LA family." I exclaimed.
"I'm glad you like it out there." Cole said "and even though, you all are under a lot of heat lately. I still support them and you."
"Agreed." Kj and Madelaine said.
"Thanks guys." I said, sipping my tea.
"Wait! I have some people that want to meet you." I laughed.
"Really?" Cole asked, appreciatively.
"Yes. My friends Erika and Tessa." I said "and I'm sure my boyfriend and Ohio best friends would love to meet my Riverdale Best friends." I laughed.
"You just have Best Friends; everywhere." Kj laughed.
"Damn right." I laughed.
We all four laughed and finished our lunch.

I texted Erika and said 'it's an emergency. Get home quick'
Erika being the Team mom that she is, replied quickly and was there with Tessa, Chance, Jake, and Anthony within ten minutes.
Madelaine, Kj, and Cole were standing in the kitchen.
"Is Camila and Lili coming?" I asked, Madelaine.
"Yes, they're on there way." She admitted.
Erika, and Anthony ran through the door.
"Jessica! Are you okay?" Erika shouted.
"Baby! Where are you?" Anthony shouted.
"I'm in here." I laughed.
Erika ran into the kitchen and paused in her tracks. Mouth wide open.
"Oh my god!" Erika shouted.
"Hey there!" Cole said, wrapping his arms around her shoulder.
"Hey Erika!" Kj said, pulling her into a hug.
"Oh my god." Tessa said, dropping her bags.
"I love you guys so much." Tessa said.
"We love you too." Cole and Kj and Madelaine said.
It was one huge group hug without me and Anthony.
We were hugging each other.
"Have you decided if you're gonna take the role?" Anthony whispered into my hair.
"I don't know." I smiled.
"It's your choice." He said.
"I want y'all to help my decision." I said, pulling away from Anthony.

Madelaine, Kj, and Cole have been gone for three hours and now everyone is back home.
I wanted to talk to Anthony about my decision.
I was sitting in my, our room.
"Hey Anthony." I called.
"Hey Babe." He responded, walking into our room.
I patted the spot next to me on our bed.
"I wanted to talk to you.." I said.
"Go to Canada, Babe." He said.
"What?" I asked, shocked.
"I saw the way your face lit up when we pulled up to that building. I know you miss your friends and I know that Team 10 will always be your home. But babe, you've been wanting to act for so so long. You've been waiting to act for so long." He said.
"Yea but I'll have to be away from you all. My home." I admitted.
"If there's any girl that can handle it, it's you. Plus we'll all be back when you get home in two weeks. Two weeks, babe. It's only two weeks." He explained.
"You know what? You're right, babe!" I said " I'm going to Canada."
"That's right! I'll be expecting Facetimes." He said, pulling me into a hug.
"And you'll get them." I said, smiling as he pulled me into a hug.
"I love you, Jessica." He said.
"I love you more, Anthony." I replied.

I called everyone into the office.
"What did you wanna talk about, Jess?" Jake asked.
"I'm going to Canada." I said, happily.
"Yay!" "Yes!" "I'm so happy for you" crossed the room.
"I'll only be there for two weeks and then I'm coming back for five weeks. I leave the day after tomorrow." I admitted.
"Ok! Let's go out to eat to celebrate!" Erika exclaimed.
"No really Guys, it's ok." I said, giggling.
"No! I insist! We are all extremely proud of you and you deserve a nice dinner with your best friends!" She said.
"Ok rik!" I said "I'll pack tomorrow."
"Everyone get dressed!" Freshman (justin) yelled.
No one moved.
"Freshman, I got this." Chance said, pushing him aside.
"Everyone get dressed!" Chance hollered.
Everyone ran to their rooms but Tessa, Erika, and I all ran to my room.
"Ok! What are you gonna wear, tessa?" I asked.
"I should probably look in my own clothes." She said, laughing.
10 minutes later
She came back with three outfits.
"Ok. Number one." She said, holding a hanger with clothes below her chin.
