I woke up and Anthony wasn't there.
I rolled over and checked my phone. Once I checked everything, I called out Anthony's name.
"Anthony!" I yelled.
No answer.
"Babe! Where are you?" I yelled again.
No answer.
"Baby! If you're here come out. You're really scaring me." I said, raising up out of bed.
I walked down the hallway.
"Anthony!" I yelled.
I heard a plate crash from downstairs.
I heard the glass shatter as it scattered around the kitchen.
"Anthony!" I yelled again, more scared now.
I ran downstairs to see a man looking through our cabinets.
"Who are you?" I asked.
He pointed a gun at me.
"Oh my god." I whispered.
"Where's Anthony?" I asked him.
"Who's Anthony?" The man asked.
"My boyfriend. Where is he?" I asked.
He ignored me and asked me for all my money.
"I'm not giving you my money." I said.
I slowly backed away as he followed.
The gun was still aimed at my shoulder.
He looked away with the gun still aimed.
"Please let Anthony be okay." I whispered to myself.
All of a sudden, Anthony walked through the front door.
"Jessica!" He whispered.
"Anthony... help me." I whispered back.
"Hey! Who's there!" The man hollered.
Anthony ran up to the guy and punched him in the face.
"Ow!" The man hollered again.
"Baby! Run upstairs, go in our room. Lock the door." Anthony yelled.
The man laid on the ground as Anthony repeatedly punched him in the face.
"If you thought you were gonna hurt my girlfriend, you're wrong." Anthony said.
"Jessica! Go!" He said.
"Not without you. I'm calling the police." I said.
I ran to grab my phone off the counter. I dialed 911, Anthony grabbed the guy and pinned him against the wall.
"Hello, you've reached the LAPD. What is your emergency?" The operator asked.
"A man has broken into our home and pointed a gun at me."
"Where is he now?" The female voice said, from the other side of the phone.
"My boyfriend is pinning him up against the wall." I said, looking at Anthony.
I was smiling at him.
"Ok. We're on the way. Tell your boyfriend not to move from pinning him." She said.
"Trust me. I won't." I said.
"Help is on the way." She said.
"Thank you." I hung up the phone.
"Babe. Keep him there." I said.
Fortunately, there was a cop down the street and he got to our house in two minutes.
He knocked on the door.
"Hello!" He called.
I opened the door and pointed towards the guy.
The police man ran to the guy and handcuffed him.
Once, the man was handcuffed. I ran to Anthony and burst to tears.
"It's okay, baby." He whispered in my ear.
"Ma'am." A policeman asked "what happened?" He asked.
I turned to face the police officer.
"So, I woke up and my boyfriend wasn't in bed. So I was calling his name and there was never an answer. Then I heard a plate break in the kitchen so I ran down there to see if my boyfriend was down there and if he was ok. I walked down there and I saw the man. I asked him who he was and never answered. Then I asked him where Anthony was and he never answered. He pointed a gun at me. And when I slowly backed up, Anthony came in and started punching me. When I called the police is when Anthony pinned him against the wall." I explained.
"Ok ma'am. Do you wanna file charges?" The cop asked.
"Not really. I don't want to deal with court." I said.
"Ok ma'am. We'll get him out of here." He said.
"Thank you." I said, walking away.
"I'm so glad you're ok." I said to Anthony.
"I'm glad you're ok." He said "i don't know what I would do if anything happened to you."

"Hey Anthony, Where did you go?" I asked.
"I can't tell you yet." He said.
"Do you trust me?" He asked.
"More than anyone." I said.
"Great." He said, kissing my lips.
I kissed him back.
