Chapter 8
ELIAS POV
I always hung around Austin nearly everyday but it was different now. It was better. Like instead of always planning things, we can just lounge around and do nothing. Just the way I liked it. My calves were laying over Austin's skinny legs and I was texting Arie on my phone. She was up to date with everything, everyday.
"Whatcha doin?" Austin asked making me look up.
"Nothing." I sang smirking looking back down at my phone.
A-what's happening
E-He's asking what I'm doing
A-Did it sound hot
I laughed.
E-I guess idk
"Lets take a picture." I said putting my phone on camera and lifted it up.
"That angle of all angles?" He looked at me with a raised eyebrow.
"Fine." I scoffed putting my arm down so it was right in front of us. I snapped the picture and looked at it. I was smiling and Austin was kissing my forehead. I sent it to Arie.
"What is that horrible smell?" Austin began, his face cringed.
"I don't smell anything." I said and his eyes wandered to my feet.
"No wonder." He plugged his nose, wiggling my big toe.
"Oh, whatever." I rolled my eyes as he laughed. Austin kissed my cheek before I moved my legs from his lap. He stood up and grabbed my hand pulling me up as well.
"What are we gonna do?" I asked.
"I don't know."
"Dinner?"
"Are we gonna be one of those couples?"
"What?" I whined.
"Thats boring. Lets go on an adventure. Something we'll remember." He exclaimed his eyes getting a little bit wider.
"What can we do? We're in the middle of Cincinnati. People are gonna know who you are."
"That's where the adventure branches off of. We'll go somewhere secret and off limits." I furrowed my eyebrows then lifted one up. I got scared and unsure just thinking about it.
"I don't know." I mumbled.
"Oh why not? Live everyday like it's your last."
"Well I don't wanna die scared and in jail." He sighed at my smart remark.
"You're no fun." Austin pouted his bottom lip.
"You're too tall to act like a little baby." I smiled and he rolled his eyes followed by a small kiss.
"Well if you don't want an adventure, what is there to do?"
"Buy snacks and watch movies?"
"Good thing we already have both of those." Austin grabbed my hand leading me to the upstairs of the bus. Fancy, I know. There was a long couch that went against 3 walls, a small sink and cabinet, then a TV.
"Butter or kettle corn?"
"Huh?"
"Buttered popcorn or kettle corn?" Austin repeated opening the cabinet.
"Oh, kettle!" I exclaimed. Kettle was my favorite. He pulled out a bag and turned to face me.
"I'll be right back." He began to go back downstairs.
