I was relaxing on my bed in the hot August heat. The white curtains blew into my room every single time a small breeze came near my open windows. I sat up for a second and looked outside as my mind began to become blank and dark a color started filling my head as I closed my eyes. "Ash...you cant just leave my side like that." Maddox standing next to me as I looked away from him. I was about the age of 7 at that time, Just a little girl. We were at the festival with our parents, I always went with Maddox when I was a little girl. He kept me safe. No matter what. He ran into my room with his swimming outfit on. Ash! You ready!? I jumped, Yeah! yeah i'm ready as I tried to smile. Hey, what's wrong Ash? I looked over at Maddox still trying to remember the rest of that memory. Oh nothing...Just another memory I said as I forgot about it. I then got up and began to walk out the door as the sun began to heat my entire body up. Maddox? Do I look...well, okay? Maddox blushed and looked at me for a second slowly scanning my whole body, Maddox almost yelling replied: Yeah! Yeah! You look great!!! I almost jumped, His face lit up red as did mine.  I looked away and then looked back. This swim suit is a little tight but ill be okay I suppose. Me and Maddox began to walk down the long road occupied by almost nothing, Hey Maddox? He looked over at me, Yeah? You know...maybe we could go to that festival together. He began to light up, Oh...yeah why do you want to go now though? I replied blushing, I just do...Don't question it! He held his hands up like he was gonna get shot while chuckling. Okay okay jeez, but...seriously why? while walking he slowly looked at me as his eyes glinted. I ended up saying: I just, I think it'll be fun to go is all. I stopped and kicked a small rock lightly while looking at the floor. Maddox stopped as well and then began to walk over to me as I still kept my head down. Ash, you should smile more. He lifted my chin with his hand, I looked deeply at him. Why? I said quietly. Because your pretty when you do...he slowly leaned in and kissed my forehead. I began to turn red, real real red, Maddox...I blushed harshly. He started down the road again slowly as I barley reached my hand up acting like I was gonna say something but I was silent. I couldn't say anything but why? I started quickly behind Him. Maddox and I stayed silent for the rest of the walk up there which was unusual for us. We got to the lake up near the shrine where the festival would be held. It was beautiful...honestly breathtaking, Maddox broke the silence by running and jumping into the water with a huge splash following his action.
