"Hey Isaac." I said
"Hi Hazel..." He said in a saddened voice
"What's wrong Isaac?"
"I don't know, it's just that I like another girl and don't know how to tell my current girlfriend..."
"Who?" I asked
"I'd rather not say..."
"Why not?"
"Hazel, lead my hands to your face"
"Alright" I said because I couldn't say okay, it has a different meaning now...So I led his hand to my face and then he kissed me...
"ISAAC! WHAT DID YOU JUST DO?!?!" I yelled at him
"I'm sorry..." he replied
"I-i-it's fine... I'm just not sure what Gus would say about it..."
"I understand Hazel...I'm sorry..."
"That's fine... but who is the girl that you like?" I asked just to see if it was me...
"YOU HAZEL!!!" He yelled at me.
"Alright, alright. I get it... I was just asking"
"I know... I'm sorry. This thing with Gus, you,Monica, and my new girlfriend doesn't help. Gus was always my support, he was my best friend and I could always talk to him when I needed it, but now that he's not here... It's hard"
"I'm not gonna say I know, but I bet... It hurts, I was very close to him too as you know..." I told him as I wiped a tear that fell from behind his glasses. I wish he knew how much it hurts, losing the love of your life. I know losing Monica was hard on him but she's not dead. He found another girl too, I already have a lot going on and now this?! I don't know what to do. I stood up and told him I was gonna go use the restroom. After I used the restroom I came back to his room and we played Counterinsurgence 2. I left a bit later that day to go to Gus' grave. It's still so hard, even after two years... I sat in front of his grave and talked.
"Gus," I said "I miss you so much... I think of you every night and how much I miss you. This has taken a toll on me" Tears started to stream down my face as I punched the ground next to me yelling "Stupid freaking CANCER!" I looked at the ground. "Sorry Gus... It just really bothers me, why couldn't it have taken me instead of you...? Why not me...?" I've always wondered that... It bothers me so much...
