This happened a few weeks ago, where me and my best friend Marissa for our first time, went to Boomers.
We both had a grand time. She introduced me to her pals and I made a few friends there myself which was exciting. But of course, something embarrassing must occur at such places.
-We were sitting on a bench outside, conversing and laughing as usual. There were speakers on the building (I don't really know how to describe it but try and go with the flow) and they played music.. the music was pretty lame tbh.... anyways.. so the music was blasting and we did our own dances every now and then (here it comes) and this girl whom I'm guessing Marissa knew, passed by walking back into the arcade and she said
"Nice dance moves-"
I replied not realizing she was referring to Marissa's movements, saying
"HEY THANKS!"
Yeah. The moment that slipped out of my mouth I was in total regret.
Now maybe this isn't really considered an 'embarrassing moment' for some of you reading this (hint hint Sunshine, Mother...) but for me it is. Because I'm a perfectionist and a shy nerd so whatever I do I mostly regret it.
