A Diamond in the Ruff

Rough Morning

"JANAE wake your dumb ass up" I woke up with a black eye. Last night James punched me cause i didn't say i love him, what can i say i don't, i want to leave but im afraid of what he will do to me. JANAE! He screamed. "Coming" i said. When i got out of bed he stood right there and smacked me , then pinned me down to the bed. He started kissing my neck and rubbing my back. Please stop i said. He got off me and slapped me again."Next time I'm going further". When he left i cried a little, its not such a good feeling being abused by your dad. I did my normal routine and went downstairs.

"You better hurry before your late, you know" Yes sir. I started walking to school when James started running toward me. Hey i said. "Sorry i punched you, my anger got the best of me" . Do you forgive me ? Silence was there for 3 seconds, i knew if i didn't say anything he would be mad and punch  me "I forgive you" i said. He gave me a kiss on my cheek and said bye. Then he ran back to a girl across the street. i always knew he was cheating on me but i didn't really care, i don't care for him , he can go to hell for all i care.

When i get to school i see Nicole Tiffany and Ciara standing at their lockers. as i was trying to go to them Fiona and Bianca step in front of me. "Well look what we have here, the girl who thinks shes smart". "Be careful her dumbness may rub off on you". They laugh, then Nicole comes over and says leave me alone , they always listen to her , their scared of her.

"You OK?' she ask, yeah I'm fine. "What happened to your eye" ask Ciara. "James". "You need to break up with him Janae" said Tiffany I am .
