The Glittering White

When the first one falls,

The people freeze in an instant.

Everything stops and then more follow.

The night falls and everything is covered

in a thick, fluffy, blanket of

Snow

Glittering in the moonlight.

Living in a blistering cold.

While you walk,

Your skin begins to numb and turn

Blue and black.

Frost bite settles into your toes and fingers

While your eyelashes begin to freeze together.

You feel a rush of cold against your

Face and chest but its brief.

You feel your senses

Begin to fade off and turn into nothing.

Let the pain fade, young angel.

Let the golden gates of heaven

Welcome you into the misconception of death.

No, no. I dont think you will feel anything

But the cold chill of the winter night.
