Chapter 1~ Anthony's POV
I wake up and grab my phone to turn off my alarm. I get up and stretch, hearing a crack and pop or two. I look at my clock again '6:00...'. I grab a slightly tight white elbow length sleeve shirt with a fake zipper, a pair of black skinny jeans, a pair of dark grey high top Converse, and a pair of boxers as an after thought. I sit my shoes next to my door and put the rest of it in the bathroom. I close the door, turn on the water, and
strip. I get under the warm watery substance, that was seemingly calling my name, reach for a washcloth, and soap it up. As a habit I reach up and wash my floppy brown ears then my fluffy brown tail then the rest of my body. I rinse off, get out, dry off, and get dressed.
"Antonio, ho il caffè! Scendere qui prima che faccia freddo!" I heard my mom yell up.
(Anthony, I have your coffee! Get down here before it gets cold!)
I don't yell anything back and search in my wardrobe for a pair of socks. I find them and put them and my shoes on my feet then tie my shoes and walk down stairs, careful not to make to much noise. When I reach the bottom I know my step-papa is awake by now. I fast-walk into the kitchen grab my coffee and my book-bag and run to the door but make it only half way. I drop my coffee then I feel my shirt being pulled back then I hear the voice that belongs to my devil of a step father.
"Where d' you think you're goin' after makin' all that noise then makin' a mess?! Huh, freak?!" My step dad says.
He lets go of my shirt and tries to hit me but I squat down to clean up the coffee I spilt just in time.
"I-I'm sorry, sir. I didn't mean it, sir." I whimper out.
He bends down and looks me in the face.
"Y'know what, fag? Why don't you not talk? Huh, sound good to you?! Don't EVER talk again or I'll find your mom and kill her! Leave, Maria!" He says his voice getting louder as he goes on.
"B-bu-" She gets cut off.
"I said 'Leave!'" My step dad yells. My mama, the woman that gave birth to me, is leaving. She looks down and says "Am I allowed to take the second car?"
"I don't care, just leave." My 'step dad' says.
She goes up to the room and a couple minutes later she comes down with a suitcase, grabs a set of keys, and....leaves. I reach into my bag careful not to speak and pull out a beanie, shove it on my head, tuck my tail in, get up and run out the door. I make it to the bus stop, along with a few other kids, just on time. The bus pulls up and I get on. I move down the isle and sit in the very back. We drive for a few minutes and then stop. 3 or 4 kids get on and move to sit close to me. I silently mind will them to not sit next to me. But they do any way.
"Hey, is this seat taken?" I hear.
I turn my head and see the most beautiful guy I've ever seen. He has the silkiest brown hair ever. He also has the most beautiful brown eyes. Also did I mention I was gay? Yeah, I get beat and teased for it. I pull out my phone and go to the note pad.
I write on it 'No, and I would like it if you didn't sit there, but whatever.'
He says "How come you don't just talk?"
I look away and shrug my shoulders. I feel a shift in the seat and I hear his voice say
"I'm Steven, Do you mind if I introduce my friends to you?"
I look at him and shake my head. "Ok, this is Smarty."
(A/N: I don't know his real name. Sorry.) He motions to a slightly tanned guy with black hair, who turns from his conversation at the mention of his name.
Smarty waves and says "Hey." Then turns away.
"The girl with the 'emo' hair is Misaki but she likes to be called Rap5odic or Wolf." He continues.
She glares at him then says "What's up?"
I just look at her. 'She's cute..but not as cute as him.'
"Oh. Uh. Sorry, he doesn't talk." Steven says. I nod.
"Oh, ok." She says and turns away.
"That girl next to Wolf is Lita." Steven says.
I see a red head ,with a beanie on, peak over Rap5odic's head with very bright yellow eyes.
"Hello." She says. Everyone but me chats and laughs. I mostly just nod my head. The bus stops one or two times then we get to school.
