Anthony's POV
I exit gym class and watch Wolf exit class, looking extremely unnerved. She sees me looking at her and rushes over.
"TONY! Have you seen Lita?! I haven't seen her since the 'Late for class' bathroom escapade!" She almost screamed in my face, which earned us a couple of weird looks. I pulled out my phone and typed on it.
"'Late for class' bathroom escapade? Anyway, I haven't seen her, since I was in class. Shouldn't she have been in class?" I showed her the text on my phone.
"Yea! She should have been in class! But she wasn't! Help me look for her!" She yelled, clearly worried. I'm sure Lita is fine, I mean, she is Lita. I wish I could fucking talk but I'm scared of Papà. I don't know what he would do to me if he found out. Wolf grabs my hand and drags me to the bathroom she says they were in before she left for class.
"Wait here!" She lets go of my hand when we arrive at our destination and I lean against the wall. I see Steven walk out of the men's bathroom and I watch him glance at me then start to walk away as if he didn't see me. I walk over to him and bump his shoulder to get his attention.
"Hey! Watch where y-" He says angrily, slinging his hand as if to hit me. I whimper and tense up, remembering what would happen if I tried to back away from my devil of a step-father. I wait a few seconds but the impact never happens. I open my previously closed eyes and look at Steven, feeling small tears slide down my cheeks. "Anthony?" He says slightly concerned. I open my mouth in an attempt to speak and say.
"I-I'm sorry..." His eyes widen.
"Did you just? Actually speak?"
