Steven's POV~
"It's your dad, isn't it?" I said, staring at Anthony. He cleared his throat and licked his lips, looking nervous to say anything. He slightly nodded, not looking at me. I walked over to him and reached out my hand, to put it on his shoulder. He flinched and took a step back.
"Say something. Or type something." I sighed.
"Um, " He licked his lips again. "H-he told me not to talk, uh, ever again.." He glanced at me, looking scared.
"Your dad? Why would he..?" It hit me. His father thought that he was the only 'freak of nature'.
"Anthony, he can't hurt you here." I say, trying to get him to understand.
He starts walking away, towards the double doors that lead out into the front grounds. I follow him, wondering where he was going. He walked off campus and I followed him, he walked and walked for a while then he walked up the steps of a nice 2-story house and unlocked the door quietly. I followed behind and knocked on the door after he closed it. There was a clanging noise and the door opened, revealing what appeared to be Anthony's dad.
