I read a story
That asked why
Why the caged bird sings
Those in the wild
Free as the wind sing
Then why does the caged one
Day upon night
Sing it's heart out
And i thought to myself
Maybe
Maybe its a cry
Why sound beautiful
Maybe its because it can't fly
But why such melody
Maybe its telling stories
Of adventures upon yonder
Of wild escapades upon lands
But why soo heart wrenching
Why it sings
Soo sweetly
