"Y/n!"
I untangle myself from my sheets after hearing my boyfriend Jc calling my downstairs.
"What's up babe?"
"Come look at this girl. I found her on Instagram."
My eyes widened as he played the video of a girl hitting the most beautiful high notes. Her voice sounded like an angel. She was beautiful and a stunning singer.
"Isn't she amazing?"
"Yeah..she's beautiful."
"I know. Her voice is so great I would do anything to meet her. She seems so dope. I mean listen to those vocals. Damn I would love for her to just sing me to sleep every night."
My eyebrows furrowed. The more Jc complimented this girl, the more it sounded like he would rather be with her.
I felt my face heat up as I clenched my jaw. I continued to listen to him go on about how perfect the girl was.
I started to think to myself.
He never tells me what he likes about me.
How come he's so obsessed with this random stranger that he's never even met before?
"Y/n?"
I snapped out of my thoughts once again.
"Sorry...I'm gonna go get a snack."
I quietly walked into the kitchen to find something to eat. I heard light footsteps come up behind me. All of a sudden a pair of strong arms wrapped around my waist.
"You aren't jealous are you?"
"Um...I don't know."
"Because I'll tell you right now, I'd much rather have you than her."
I gave him a small smile and walked over to the table, where I started to cut up some fruit.
"I'm serious. I know how you are Y/n. You're the jealous type. Always so quick to get furious whenever I talk about another girl. But you do your best to hide it from me, just so you don't look like that overly obsessed girlfriend that everyone hates."
"Well..I just love you a lot. I don't want to loose you just because you...found someone better."
"I would never find anyone better than you."
"And how would you know?"
I looked over at Jc as a wide smirk grew across his face.
"I'll show you how."
No other words were exchanged before I was dragged upstairs towards the bedroom.
