"Hey babe.."

I looked over at my boyfriend of six months, Jc, who was currently fidgeting with a random string that he found somewhere on the floor.

"Yeah?"

"Let's do something."

"Jc it's literally 1 am, what are we gonna do at this time of nigh- well morning?"

"It's midnight so...lets do midnight things."

Jc was always the type to come up with unique ideas whenever he was bored, so I was suddenly interested in what he had in mind.

"Alright well...this is going to sound really cliché but...we can go on a walk."

"Alright. Let's go, we have nothing better to do."

He smiled as he threw on a hoodie and passed me one to wrap around my body. We agreed not to take our phones, so we could enjoy each other's company.

We had been walking for a few minutes in complete silence, just taking in the world around us.

"Damn, I wish I had my phone. I could record a really artsy Snapchat right now."

I gave Jc a death glare as he laughed in amusement.

"I'm kidding. I'd much rather spend time with you than record a Snapchat."

"Yeah sure, whatever."

Jc's arm found his way around my waist, pulling me closer to his body.

"You know something?"

"I know a lot of things."

"Okay well yes but, I'm pretty sure you don't know this...one night, a fan came up to me, and asked me who's someone I would spend the rest of my life with. At this time, you had no idea of my existence. But I knew about you, because I was obsessed with your Instagram page.."

I laughed at the thought of Jc stalking all my social media accounts.

"So...I said you. And everyone was like 'aww', 'how cute', blah blah blah. But...it's true you know."

"Bullshit. We haven't even been together for a year."

"Yeah but I do love you...a lot."

"I love you...even more."

"Yeah right."

Silence took over once again as we continued to walk to nowhere.

"Where are we even going?"

"I actually don't know."

We came up to a random park that we had no idea about, which was closed.

"Let's go into here."

"Jc, it's closed, how the hell are we supposed to get in?"

"There's this thing called 'jumping fences.'. I'm sure you've heard of it before."

I rolled my eyes at his sarcastic comment and slowly followed him to the gate.

"Come on, it's not even that high. We're supposed to be doing midnight things."

I watched as Jc effortlessly hopped over the gate

I watched as Jc effortlessly hopped over the gate.

"Alright well I'll need some help. I'm not trying to rip a hole in my new pants."

He chuckled as he reached and arm out to support me. I grabbed onto it as I climbed over carefully.

"See? Wasn't so bad now, was it?"

"Shut up. Let's go swing."

Jc chuckled once again at my sudden burst of energy and jogged over to the swings with me.

I sat on one and started swinging my feet back and forth, like a five year old, waiting to be pushed.

Jc shook his head playfully while walking up behind me and pushing my gently.

"Higher!"

He obeyed my demand as he started to push me with more force. I giggled as my legs dangled in front of me.

"Alright I'm tired, swing yourself."

I stopped the swing and sighed from exhaustion.

"Alright let's get out of here, I don't want to get caug-"

"Who's there?!"

A bright light shined in our direction as we both froze in terror.

"Oh shit."

We both ran to the gate, Jc hopping over first, then turning out so I could get on his back.

He ran all the way back home and then collapsed on the bed once we reached our room.

"Well that was one interesting walk.", I breathed out.

"You're telling me? I think I sprained my ankle while running so damn fast."

I laughed and went over to his record player that was sitting on his table.

"Do you ever use this thing?"

"Occasionally, yeah."

I smiled and put a random record inside. It just so happened to be a very old, romantic song.

I pulled Jc up as he smiled at me, we held onto each other and moved side to side slowly.

"We should do midnight things more often."

"We should."

I smiled and connected his lips with mine.
