^ Taylor's outfit for the first day
When I got up for school I felt nervous and excited, so I guess anxious is the word. Today I was going to wear my brown Ugg Boots with black skinny jeans and a grey sweater. I decided to leave my ombré hair down for the first day and see how it goes. This year is going to be my year. I'm 18 years old and going into my senior year at high school.
I skipped down the stairs excitedly to get ready for school. I saw my mom sitting on the couch reading the newspaper and eating her bagel. It was just me and my mom, no dad, no siblings. My dad passed away earlier this year. We are fine just the two of us.
I grabbed my piece of toast with peanut butter and headed out the door. Since today was the first day, we didn't need supplies or anything.
The school bus comes right outside my house at 8:40am and 3:34pm which gives me a perfect amount of time to get ready in the morning.
I hop on the loud bus as it's doors open. I walk through the aisle looking for two out of three of my bestfriends. Ella and Evelyn. They always sit in the same place everyday and everyday, I sit with them. Ella and Evie are identical twins but i can tell them apart. My other bestfriend Charlotte, walks to school since she lives so close.
"Hey guys!" I said as I approached Ella and Evie, "how are you guys?"
