Dominic and Declan raced after Ava as she fell down the stairs. Once she reached the floor, her body slammed into the wall and sent a loud crack through the room.
"Ava!" Declan called.  She stood before the boys could reach her and ran towards the door. As she was about to reach for the knob, Declan lunged forward. He wrapped his arms around her and carried her away from the door. He looked down at her face with wide eyes. Dominic latched onto her too as he pulled out a cross. He placed it against Ava's arm. After Zorohm stopped moving, He took out a knife and started carving the binding symbol into her skin.

"Be careful," Declan said as he watched the tip of the knife pierce her skin. He drew the infinity sign slowly and finally the pentagram with a tight grip on the blade. Zorohm screamed as he finished the last part of the pentagram. As Dominic tossed the blade away, Zorohm pushed against Declan's arms, but Declan held tight. The demon growled as he shoved against Declan with more force.
"She might love you," Zorohm said. "But she is also fascinated with the preacher's boy. She's thought of him almost as much as she's thought of you."

"Ava, fight him," Declan called to her. Her brown eyes locked on him, but she continued to wrestle against his grip. Zorohm wiggled a hand free as Dominic reached out to grab Ava's arm. He continued the exorcism. When he got a sentence out, Ava's fist shot forward and smacked Declan in the nose. Blood dripped down his face as Dominic's voice grew louder. Ava's arms shoved Declan's hands off her and Zorohm flung them back, out of Declan's reac. She flew into the large window with a large crash. "Ava!"
"Declan, we have to finish this," Dominic said. They ran to Ava and pulled her off the ground.
"I'm so sorry," Declan whispered to Ava. He tightened his arms around her as Dominic neared the end of the exorcism.
"In nomine patris et filii et spiritus sancti, quia ego te condemnabo vade ad infernum aeternum" Zorohm screeched and a light spread through the room. Dominic stumbled backwards as the light covered the room. Zorohm's harsh scream slowly changed into loud shrill. The light surrounded Declan and Ava like a blanket. As the light began to dim, Ava's scream died down into a moan. Declan held Ava tightly in his arms. Ava's eyes were squinted as she looked over at Dominic.
"Ava," Declan called to her.
"He's gone." She whispered and her eyes shut. Declan lifted her off the floor and carried to the door.
"She needs to get to the hospital," Declan said and Dominic followed. "Thank you so much, Dominic."
"It's what I'm supposed to do," Dominic replied as they left the house. Dominic prayed his words weren't true.
