Pastor Josiah walked through his living room later that night. He locked his door and turned back to his living room. As he turned off the light, he looked at his coffee table. On it was a picture of a 7-year-old Dominic. He wore a blue suit with a tie that was the same color green as his eyes. A smile grew on Pastor Josiah's face. Green was his favorite color at the time. He had refused to wear any other colored tie. A huge smile was on the face of the young boy. There was the same sparkle in his eyes today that was much more vibrant at 7.
He had so much more light in him then. Pastor Josiah thought. He thought of what Pastor Arthur said. Saving people from demons had been the reason he and his wife divorced. He lost his parents from it. It had taken almost everything from him, but it also took so much from others. He could stop some of it and so could his son.
It's not an ideal life, but it saved many others. He laid down the picture frame and walked into his bedroom. As he turned on the light, a brown book laid nestled on his bed. He reached down and picked it up. As he turned it over, his eyes widened and he threw back on the bed.
How? He thought as he picked it up and hurried up to the attic. With shaking hands, he shoved it behind the brick and closed it back up.
This is over. He told himself. He went back to his bedroom and sat on his bed with head in his hands. He let this go on too long, but Zorohm was gone. He was in Hell and that's where he would stay.
It was over.
