"You look like a princess Lily" Lucas teared up as he awed over his daughter
"Thank you Daddy" Lily grinned while doing a spin in her dress causing her curls to bounce
"And now presenting....Maya!!" Lily cheered as Maya walked through the hallway

"Wow" Lucas said almost out of breath
"How do I look huckleberry" Maya grinned
"You look beautiful Maya" Lucas blushed as he admired
Lily grabbed a hold of Maya's hand "Ready to go to the dance?"
"We need pictures first" Lucas said while taking out his phone "Smile!"
After different poses, and pictures they were almost ready to go
"Lily Grace I got you something" Maya smiled revealing a small box from her purse
"Oooh a present!"
Maya handed the box to the little girl and watched with a smile as she opened it
"It's so pretty!!" Lily cheered while taking out a necklace with a locket in it
"Its a locket, so you and I could always remember this night. And because I love you so much" Maya said while taking the necklace out of the box and putting it around her neck
"I love you too Momm-Maya" Lily quickly corrected herself with a blush
"I'm sorry" Lily cried while running to her dad
Maya's face softened as she slowly walked towards the girl hiding between her father legs
"Lil, you don't have to be sorry"
"What?" Lily asked confused
"If you want to call me Mommy, you can. It's okay because I love you just like a mommy loves their children" Maya grinned
"Really?" Lily gasped coming out from her hiding spot
"Yeah. Blood doesn't make somebody a mom, Love does. And I love you so much"
"I love you too, Mommy" Lily smiled while hugging Maya
"Now lets wipe the tears and get our coats on" Maya informed letting go of the hug
Lily nodded eagerly and rushed off to get her coat
"It's this okay?" Maya whispered to Lucas after Lily was not in sight
"Of course Maya, you are her mother in love and if she wants to call you her mom then she can" Lucas assured while hugging Maya
"Ready May-Mommy" Lily corrected herself with a giggle as she came back with her coat
"Of course sweetie, say goodbye to daddy"
"Bye!" She waved while placing a kiss on Lucas's cheek
"Love ya huckleberry" Maya said peking him on the lips
