Adelia tossed and turned in her bed sheets, she'd been having nightmares for the past week. She jolted up flicking her head left and right. She sighed and pulled her legs out of the sheets.
'Why am I having so many nightmares' she thought rubbing her eyes while standing up.
Adelia checked the time, 2:09 in the morning. She swung the door open and trotted down to the kitchen. She pulled a glass out the cupboard and filled it with water. Then a sudden creak came from behind her. She quickly flicked her head back in surprise.
"oh my god, Damian. What the hell are you doing up at this time!" She screamed at her brother.
"Ha, if ask you the same" he chuckled. Damian was Adelia's big brother. He was very tall and hat brown hair. His eyes were a golden brown color and gleaned like the sun.

"Ya know, sometimes I really do hate you." Adelia laughed.
"Oh well baby sis, I love you too" he replied sarcastically.

"Is mom still asleep?" Adelia asked.
"I don't know, she was snoring last time I heard her" Damian said blankly.

"Well I'm off to bed" Adelia said trudging up stairs.
"-and, what are you doing up?" She stopped in her tracks.
"Midnight snack, I'm a rebel." Damian winked.
Adelia laughed walking back to bed.
