Lauren's Pov:

Today's Friday and boy was I happy, I needed a break from everyone, I woke up 30 minutes earlier than I usually do and decided to take a long shower. When I got out I looked at the time and realized school had already started, I quickly got out threw on some black ripped jeans and an old band T-shirt I grabbed my boots and ran out the door.

Before I knew it I was already in the school parking lot, I sat in my car and tried to make myself look presentable, I fixed my hair a little and applied some mascara. I took one last look in the mirror before getting off, I let out a sigh and proceeded to get out my car. I walked to the entrance of the school and some girl opened the door for me I smiled at her and walked into the school. It was lunchtime already when I arrived at school, which meant I had missed 3 periods again.

I looked around for my friends but couldn't seem to find them, I went to my locker to put some books away, in the distance I could hear someone calling me, I turned around to see who it was and saw brad I smiled at him and waved at him, he smiled back and made his way to me.

I closed my locker and turned around to face him, "is being late to school a usual thing for you?" he asked, I laughed "I like to make an entrance" I said smirking. He smiled and said "well you're doing a pretty good job at it" I could feel myself blushing but I didn't want him to see to I turned around and walked into the cafeteria.

Brad followed me and grabbed my arm I turned around to face him and he said "did I say something wrong?" I shook my head and said "no of course not I just need to find my friends. He nodded his head and told me he would see me later in class I smiled at him and went to the table where the girls were. They all looked up at me and Normani smirked "okay Laur I see you" I rolled my eyes and sat in front of Camila, she was writing in her journal.

"He's a cutie Laur," Ally said smiling I ignored her at looked at Camila, of course, she doesn't acknowledge me I'm used to it by now. I just want to talk to her, I don't know why she doesn't want to talk to me I haven't done anything wrong, I really hope that Dinah manages to talk to her and finds out what I did wrong.

Dinah wasn't really paying attention to anything, she seemed really out of it. I tapped her on her arm and she just looked at me and nodded her head, I gave her a questionable look and mouthed "are you okay" she nodded her head and look down at the ground I knew something was up.

I stood up and told her to go to the restroom with me, she resisted at first but I begged her to come, she let out a sigh a got up. As soon as Dinah got up Camila's head shot up instantly, she looked at me and I told her we'd be back she looked over at Dinah and Dinah told her its okay that she'd be right back. Camila nodded in assurance and continued to write in her journal, I gave her a small smile before exiting the cafeteria with Dinah.

When we got out into the hallway Dinah leaned her back against a locker and faced me with her arms crossed. I stood a couple feet back from her and asked her whats wrong, "nothing Laur I'm fine" she said shaking her head. "Dinah I know somethings up, I can tell by your body language you can talk to me I'm here for you," I said making strong eye contact with her.

She broke the eye contact, looked down at the floor and said "I don't know, I just been thinking about a lot of things lately and it's just weird" I bit my lip and said "what have you been thinking about? is it bad?" she uncrossed her arms and said "no, I don't know honestly it's just different you know I don't know how to explain it and I don't really wanna talk about it" I didn't want to push it so I just agreed with her and left it alone.

I gave her a quick hug and we proceeded to walk back into the cafeteria, just as I was about to open the door Dinah pulled my arm and said "wait" I turned around and faced her, "I know what you wanted to ask, but you just didn't wanna say it" I knew what she was talking about but I wanted to act dumb.
