Lauren's Pov:

"Lauren!" I woke up to my mom shouting for me from downstairs, I let out a groan of frustration and covered my face with my blanket. I heard her footsteps approach and already knew she was going to make a scene, I heard my bedroom door swing open as my mom made her way to me.

"Lauren why are you still in bed!?" she asked, I yawned loudly "because I'm tired" I replied still half awake. She yanked the cover off of me and threw it to the floor, "mom what the hell" I shouted, now wide awake. "I'm tired of you always sleeping mija, you need to get out of bed and go do something, it's 2 in the afternoon and you're still in bed!" she said walking towards the door.

I sat up and rubbed my eyes, I looked over at the alarm and rolled my eyes, "you can't make me go out if I don't want to mom, maybe I don't have any friends to go out with, have you ever thought about that?" I asked her. She crossed her arms and raised her eyebrow, "don't get smart with me, you're getting out of this bed and getting out the house and if your still here in the next 30 minutes, I'm going to ground you" I furrowed my eyebrows and said "you can't ground me for not leaving the house what the hell!?" she nodded her head "yes I can" she said closing the door.

"UGH!" I shouted throwing a pillow at the door, I laid back down and looked up at the ceiling, I really didn't want to get out the house, I just wanted to be home and be lazy, but knowing my mom she really would ground me for not leaving the house, and I am NOT trying to be grounded for something stupid.

So I decided to get out the house, I looked over at my alarm clock and saw the time, 2:10 pm. I rolled my eyes and somehow managed to get myself out of bed, I was debating I should shower cause I only had about 20 minutes to get out the house, I ended up taking one of the quickest showers of my life.

When I got out the shower I checked the time and it was 2:20 pm, 'fuck' i said to myself, I only have 10 minutes. I quickly ran to my room and threw whatever I could find on, I then proceeded to apply some light makeup before leaving so I won't look dead throughout the day.

When I finished getting ready the time was now 2:28 pm, I grabbed my purse and was about to leave my room when I felt my back pocket and realize my phone wasn't there. I started to panic because I couldn't waste any time looking for it, but I couldn't leave the house without my phone, that's like leaving the house naked.

I turned my room upside down looking everywhere for my stupid phone I knew It was already time for me to leave but I HAD to find my phone. I literally went through every corner of my room looking for It and I couldn't find It anywhere, I felt like I was about to lose my mind.

I was waiting for my mom to burst through the door and start yelling at me any second now but surprisingly she didn't. After what felt like hours looking for my phone I stumble upon a piece of paper sticking out my jeans, I furrowed my eyebrows and grabbed the paper confused for a second as to what it could be.

I grabbed the piece of paper and unfolded It, the first thing I saw on it was "for Lauren" with a smiley face, I turned the paper over and saw a number on it, it was brads. I smiled at the thought of him, I remember him telling me to text him, which I never did by the way.

I felt a vibration under my foot, I looked down and picked up my jeans, my phone was under them the whole time. I quickly picked up the phone and saw a text from my mom which read 'are you still here?' I quickly grabbed my phone, bag, and the piece of paper and ran down the stairs.

I grabbed my keys and quickly got into my car, I turned on the car and thought about where I was going to go, I had no idea. I didn't want to hang out with any of the girls because I didn't want them to bring up anything about Camila, and obviously, I couldn't ask Camila, so I was at a lost.
