The next day
Ambers POV
I woke up, and got dressed.I curled my hair, and did my makeup.
Then I grabbed my brown bag, phone, and walked downstairs. I ate oatmeal. I washed my dish, and walked out the door. I was contemplating on riding my bike to school.
I then chose to take my car to school.
I got in, and drove to school. I parked my car, and got out. I was walking around, until I finally found the office. I walked in. "Hi, my name is Amber Marie Jones. I'm new to the school.." I said. "Oh you're the new student the principle informed me about, I'll have someone show you around." The office lady said. "I'm miss val by the way." She said, sticking her hand out. "Nice to meet you." I said, shaking her hand. A boy with brown hair, and brown eyes walked in.
"Eric, please show miss Jones around please." Val asked. He nodded. "I'm Eric, it's nice to meet you." He said, sticking his hand out. "I'm Amber, it's nice to meet you too." I said and shook his hand. "What's your first class?" He asked. "I think it's American history." I said. "That's ms.smiths class, I'll take you there." He said. I nodded. He showed me all my classes, and where everything that I needed to know was. Then he took me back to my first class. "Well this is your stop, I'll try to find you at lunch." He said. I nodded. I walked into the classroom, and everyone stared at me. I saw Avery. She smiled at me. I smiled back a little. I sat down next to a brown haired, green eyed boy.
"Goodmorning class, today we have a new student joining us. She was a star student at her old school. She was top of all her classes, top of her school and district, she's won many academic awards, top reader in her district. Miss jones, please come to the front and introduce yourself." The teacher said. I nodded, and walked up to the front. "Uh, hi I'm Amber jones. I moved here from London, and I like reading.." I said. "Is that all you're gonna say??" Some girl asked. "You're hot!" Some guy in the back said. I rolled my eyes. I went back to my seat. "Thank you miss Jones." The teacher said. I nodded. She continued on with the class. We were learning about Pocahontas. I had finished my book at the coffee shop. Now I was reading The Fault In Our Stars. It was really good. I loved it. "I'm Jackson." The guy I was sitting next to said. "I'm Amber." I said. He nodded. Soon the bell rang, and I went to my next class. Photography. My class after this was advanced creative writing. Then lunch, advanced choir, art, advanced math, dance, drama.
Lunch
I walked out of my fourth period class, and walked to lunch. I got my lunch. Then I sat alone because I didn't know anyone. Avery walked over, and sat in front of me. She smiled at me. "You didn't tell me you went here." She said. I laughed a little. "I assumed you were in college or something." I said. "Me? I thought you were in college." She said. "A beautiful, smart girl like you should be in college by now.." she said. I blushed deeply. We ate lunch together, and talked about anything and everything. By the end of lunch, I felt like I'd known her for years. She walked me to class. I waved goodbye, and walked into my class room. After school
I got in my car, and drove home. "Hey mom." I said smiling. "Hey." She said, with no emotion. She always acts like that. I ignored it as always, and went upstairs to my room. I studied for a bit, then I read, and wrote. I took a shower, then went to bed.Hey guys! Sorry it's so late! And so short! I've just been a having a little writers block lately but I'm getting to it!
