(Reese POV)

I woke up in Wolfe's bed and I reached my hand behind me to find him, but he was gone. I jumped out of bed, stumbling slightly. A wave of vertigo hit me hard and I fell to the floor with a loud thud. I laughed at myself and the others I heard charging up the stairs. By the time they reached me, I was laughing so hard, tears where falling down my face.

Wolfe ran to my side ,worried that I was hurt, but once he realized I was laughing; he joined in. He helped me to my feet and when I went to straighten my top, my hand grazed a little bump. It was not significant, but it was obvious if I ran my hand over my once flat stomach.

My laughter died instantly. How was I supposed to fight a super powerful being while I was pregnant. “You, aren't fighting anyone. I am.”

“No. He will kill you Wolfe. I am the only one that can fight him. Why do you think he wants you to hand me over. He is going to strip my powers from me.” Tara and Jason stared at me in confusion. Obviously, Wolfe had not told them about his little run in with Klaus.

Wolfe was silently cursing himself for forgetting to keep that part blocked from me. He did not know that I was silently probing his brain the other day after I had let him into mine. “I'm glad I know. It just means I need to train harder.”

This is not your fight Reese.”

It is now.”

We were interrupted by Tara clearing her throat. I looked up and saw that anger had replaced her confusion. “Mind filling us in?”

“Klaus is willing to spare all of you if Wolfe hands me over to him. If Klaus were to capture me, he would find a way to strip me of my powers. I am the only one who can kill a Primus.” Jason looked like he was trying to hold back his wolf. He was visibly shaking in the doorway and Wolfe was no better.

“But how are you gonna kill him. No one is strong enough.”

“I have something call Hellfire. It is the strongest magic in the world. Normally it takes an entire coven to summon even a little bit and those too weak die from using that much power. I; however, can summon it whenever I want with my new powers. I used it on him once, completely obliterating his arm. He cannot grow it back either.” They all stared at me in shock. This was my secret. Not even my father knew the extent of my training.

I squeezed Wolfe's hand and he snapped out of it. A wide smile spread across Tara and Jason's face, but Wolfe looked concerned. “Neither you nor my son are going anywhere near Klaus.”

“Son? And you can't stop me.” He growled at me, but I just rolled my eyes. Men. “We will talk more about it later. Right now we need to figure out what I'm going to do about my father.”

They all tensed this time and loud growls erupted from all three of them. I doubt my father would let me move in with them, especially since we had a council meeting tomorrow. My hands absentmindedly rubbed my stomach as I thought of a plan.

A ringing sound brought me out of my thoughts, and I realized someone was calling my cellphone. I grabbed it off the nightstand. The caller I.D. said it was Jacob.

“Hello.”

“Hey darlin'. Where have you been.” His voice sounded light and my racing heart began to slow.

“Um I was at Stella's last night, but I'm heading home now.”

“Ok i'll see you soon.”

That was weird. Usually as long as I show up to meetings and complete my tasks, my parents do not really care where I was. Jacob did not seem distressed so I was not too worried.
