The Mirkwood

Chapter 1:"The Begginning"

The Mirkwood is like a maze in a forest. You never know that you are going in circles. Visitors were trapped in the Mirkwood for several days and still, they haven't heard a single news about them. But, deep within the Mirkwood, there is a hidden village called "Elvise." Elvise is a cheerful village until they were attacked by demonic monsters called "Dires."

While the Elvise was attacked by the Dires, there were two brave humans that defended Elvise from attacking the Dire. After a long and suffering battle, they successfully defended the Elvise. gods in Elvise thanked them by choosing one of them to be a leader in their village. Merlin and Luke were their names. Merlin was chosen to be the leader; Luke was so jealous of him taking the lead.

Merlin felt bad for Luke because he wasn't the chosen leader of Elvise. However Luke wasn't happy that Merlin took the leadership. So, Luke just left the village and took 5 men with him and left Merlin to take in charge of Elvise. Merlin was a bit confused so he walked back to his house slowly because he was a bit dizzy at that time. Just ahead of him, a woman rushes towards the store behind Merlin but she didn't notice that someones in her way and so, they accidentally bumped to each other and merlin fell followed by the woman.

The woman fell and quickly stood up and apologized Merlin and runs to the store. Many people saw them on top of each other that both of them blushed. Another woman yell and said "Relaia!! Rushing to the store again?!." Relaia said "Yes!!." So this is where Merlin fell in love with a woman named Relaia.

Relaia is a beautiful woman, beautiful as an aphrodite, skin so white as a pearl, and has a calming face. One look at her, a man could easily fall in love. In a night where the moon is bright as the sun, Merlin put up jars with fireflies so that it could lit up the garden full of roses. However, Merlin stepped on a rock and fell with Relaia seeing him. She laughed as hard as she can, Merlin chuckles out of embarrassment and took out a ring.

"I know we have only just met, but I promise you. I'll make you precious as a magic potion as can be." Hearing this, Relaia was touched by her surroundings, and by him, she said yes. And they were married at the same spot where they were engaged. Specifically, the garden that they were in.

9 months later, Merlin and Relaia had a baby girl name Lyralei. Lyralei is a very cute baby with a gentle heart. They took care of her like she was a precious gem. But, they saw a tornado heading through their way. Sadly they don't have time to pack all the things. Instead, they only packed their precious gem, which is Lyralei. And so, Merlin and Relaia were taken by the tornado in order to save Lyralei.

After the tornado was gone, Lyralei was on the grass, crying aloud. After 5 minutes, she stopped crying because she was carried by a strong yet gentle wind that picked her up to the sky. She smiled like a precious gem just soaring through the sky. After another 5 minutes, the wind stopped carrying her. Instead, the wind let her float down the sky and fall gently onto the ground. Lyralei sees no trees whats so ever maybe she is not in her homeland anymore because the wind was so fast that Lyralei didn't even notice and dropped her in this flat mountains.

As she floats down the sky a man picked Lyralei up and gave her a smile. The man's name was Minho. Minho is a druid that has the power to control the wind. 4 years later, Minho trained Lyralei because she wanted to be like Minho. Minho agreed and decided to train Lyralei.

Lyralei thought that it would be easy to train and control the power of wind, but she regretted her decision. Still, Minho kept motivating Lyralei to try her best and harness the power of the wind. Many attempts, many fails, but she succeded a lot of the tasks that Minho gave to her. 16 years later, she mastered the power of wind by harnessing it by a bow that was specially made by Minho. Minho gave a nickname to Lyralei, called Windranger, simply because she has the power of wind and the ranger means she is a marksman or an archer.

Minho gave one last task to Lyralei, which is to travel Icewrack which is a cold and winter place where a person will wait for Lyralei to join her adventure. The next place she needs to travel is to the Dark Reef which is an underwater city where they will need to beat a tremendous monster to free those who got captured by it. And lastly, the last place she needs to travel is to go to the Mirkwood. Where two ancients fight to the death and take the position of the victorious team. Lyralei didn't want to leave Minho, because Minho can't take care of himself without Lyralei.

Still, Minho forced Lyralei to complete his final task so that he can rest his life. Lyralei cried heavily, thanking Minho for taking care of her for 20 years. Training here for 16 years. Minho chuckles and said, " don't worry, besides, I don't have much time left." So, she ventured to where the location of Icewrack, and now, her journey has just begun.
