(3 weeks later) Friday night, 5:30pm, in the dining room, Dave's house
It has been just over 3 weeks now since Simon and Jeanette first did 'it' and a lot has gone off and changed in them past 3 weeks. The school holiday was about to start so the chipmunks and chipettes had 2 weeks off school now.
However school was getting stressful for all the chipmunks and chipettes because they knew that there real exams would start in a few months time
Alvin and Brittany's baby chipmunks where now learning to talk and they could each say a few basic words like "mummy" "daddy" "food" "drink" "pizza" "waffles" and a few more words like that. They could not speak in sentences yet or in full English but to say they are about 1 month old they are all doing really well with speaking
Tonight, Dave had a surprise for the chipmunks and chipettes and decided to tell them while they were all at the table eating
"Guys, pasta and meatballs are ready" shouted Dave
Theodore and Eleanor raced each other to the table and started eating their dinner before the others could even sit down at the table
"This is great Dave" said Theodore in a happy voice
"Thanks Dave, this is amazing" said Eleanor with a smile
"No problem guys" replied Dave
Alvin, Brittany, Simon and Jeanette had got to the table and were just starting there dinner
As soon as everyone started eating Dave spoke to everyone
"Hey guys, I have something to tell you" said Dave
Everyone looked at Dave "I got a letter from a venue in Paris and they want all 6 of you to go and sing there and you would all be live on TV" said Dave in a happy voice
Everyone cheered and they were all so happy
"So does that mean we are only going for a day?" Asked Brittany
"No this event would last one day but I have booked the hotel for a week so you guys can have a holiday in Paris" replied Dave
Everyone cheered again "I can't wait Simon, a week with you in Paris" said Jeanette in a happy voice
"Ok know, I'm excited too" said Simon
"Am looking forward to this holiday, we need a break from school" said Alvin with a smile
Brittany giggled "I know I'm so bored of exams and teachers telling us to study" replied Brittany
"I wonder what food we can try in Paris?" Asked Theodore
"I'm not sure, we will just have to find out" replied Eleanor with a small giggle afterwards
"The night you will all be singing is on Sunday night so when we get the plane tomorrow morning, you will have tomorrow afternoon, tomorrow night and Sunday daytime to relax and do what you want on holiday" explained Dave
"And the rest of the days after Sunday?" Asked Theodore
Everyone gave a friendly laugh "yes Theodore you can relax and do what you want on holiday for the rest of the days after Sunday" replied Dave
Brittany looked worried "Dave what about our kids, who will take care of them?" Asked Brittany in a worried voice
"You guys I hope" joked Dave "you can take your kids with you and look after them on holiday" replied Dave in a more serious voice
