The week passed and it was Saturday, the night of the most biggest party for the reopening of school. Annah came to my apartment and she bought a gift for our new friendship. I felt bad for not getting anything for her. "Wow, its so nice. Now I feel bad for not getting you anything." Annah was caught up in something. When I saw what she was looking at my heart forgot its pace. "What is this?" She asked. I didn't know what to say. "Its a collection of my favourite movie stars. I collect them because they keep my mind running. I just wish I had a good boy by my side." I sighed. "Its okay to have a collection but you need to limit them. The wall doesn't have its colour anymore." I thought of removing them and when I tried to do, I would stop. "Come on Lisah, let's get dressed or we'll be late for the party." We got ready. Annah really knew her thing when it came to doing someone a makeover. I was really thankful because the last time I did it myself, I looked like a clown.

We were finding a spot in Nathan's house. When we got inside it was already full. Teenagers danced and sang with the rhythm of the songs. Annah and I left for the kitchen to get a drink. I was not a fan of alcohol, so I usually drank a soda. "We have to look for Nathan, he is the one who invited us." I said. Annah was pouring two sodas when the devil himself came, Josh. "Is this the first time for you to attend a party?" He morked. I tried to say something but I thought of my secret. "Yess its my first time to a party, so would you please leave me in peace so I can enjoy it?". He smirked and faced Annah. She was consumed in her own mind. "Is this your friend?" Josh asked. "No..." Annah looked at me. "She is my bestfriend." I felt good when I said that. "Well tell your friend here to stop staring at me." He frowned. I gave Annah the 'what the heck' look but still she was not moving. I banged the table, and a few eyes were staring at us. I gave everyone a smile and they turned back to their business. "Annah we have to leave now..." I was not sure what to do, so I stood up and dragged Annah along. I went to the bathroom and shut the door. "What was that for?" Annah sounded annoyed. "I had the chance to speak to my crush, and you ruined it." I didn't think that was the case. "You were not even talking to him, you were staring at him. Since we are bestfriends I will have to tell you something." I sighed too loud and Annah was confused. "What's wrong Lisah?" She asked. "Okay, what am about to tell you is very important. Don't tell anyone okay?" I said. "Okay?" Annah said not sure. "Okay. Josh and I used to attend school together. Something really bad happened to me and he uses it against me. He knows all my secret and its not good. I will tell you my secret when we get back to my apartment, now its not safe to talk." tears started to form in my eyes but I resisted crying because it would ruin my make-up. We got out of the bathroom to enjoy the party.

Nathan was nowhere to be found and Annah has not said anything since I told her what's the big deal with Josh. "Annah... Annah." I shouted. "Hmm, yes?" She answered. "I think we need to leave now. Its getting late and Nathan is nowhere to be found." I was so tired. "Okay let's leave. I am so tired and I don't want to sleep at my house, so can I sleep at yours?" I knew the idea was great but I never had a person visiting my apartment. "Okay its fine".

When we arrived I changed into my night clothes and borrowed Annah some. I was so tired but Annah forced me to watch a movie with her. Rrrrriiiiinggggg. My phone rang and it was an unknown number. So I took it.
" hello?" I answered. "Hy Lisah, its Nathan." I didn't know what to say so I stayed quite. "Hello, Lisah are you still there?" I snapped from my silence. "Yess what's up Nathan?" I was nervous. "I was asking if you were at the party because I did not see you"...
" yess, I was and you were absent, I thought." I murmured the last part. "Can you please meet with me at thebpark tomorrow morning?"...."Sure I will."... " okay bye. See you tomorrow then" he hanged up before I could say anything. Annah was staring at me with big eyes. The question came to me, Where did Nathan get my number at? The night passed so quick and we went to bed.
