I know that many people think that love is at first meet, but I think there is more to that. I went to the park where Nathan request to meet. When I arrive the park was empty. I waited under a bench next to a lovely garden. "Hello, is this seat taken?" A cute guy said to me. "Hi, not yet but you can take it." I said thinking of Nathan. "Okay, thank you. So what is a beautiful girl doing all alone in an empty park?" He asked. "Well I am supposed to meet someone here, but it seems he is late" I didn't know where Nathan was. "Okay. Would you like to take a walk around?" I was surprised to hear that. "Oh no, I think he will be here soon." I was starting to get worried. A car parked near the gate and I prayed that it would be Nathan. I shared a big smile with the boy, and soon Nathan was with us. "Hy Lisah and...." Nathan asked more than greeting me. "Oh I never caught your name, who are you again?" I was embarrassed because I never asked for his name. "My name is Jake and sorry for interrupting you" he said while leaving. "Nice to meet you." I shouted. "So is that your new friend?" Nathan laughed. I was not in the mood to argue with Nathan."I have been waited for you over an hour here" I exaggerated. "Well I stopped at the shops to buy you something. I was trying to figure out what to buy so I figured to buy you this..." He gave me a gift bag and told me to open it. I was not ready for Nathan explanation about buying me something. I opened the gift and it was a diamond bracelet. "What is this for?" I asked not sure why he would buy me a gift because we have only know each other for a week. "I have lots of money to spoil a new frienddd" he said. I didn't know what to say. "Thank you, Nathan. But this was unnecessary." I said that knowing there will be an answer after that. "Well I wanted to so have it." He said while making me to wear it. "Okay. Well you didn't call me hear so that you can give me this lovely gift" note the sarcasm. "Well, I called you here so that I can tell you something." He seemed a little sad. "Well we don't have the whole day" I felt bad for him but I needed to leave soon. "Lisah please hear me out." He sighed. "I have been a bad boy since... forever. I know I don't know you that well but I think that there is something between the two of us. I have not been sleeping for two days trying to figure out how to tell you what I am about to tell you. Since forever I have been looking for the right girl for me, and... and I think it is you." I was so surprised and excited at the same time. "But why would you choose me out of all the girls in our school?" "Well, you are the only one that my heart forgets its pace when I see you. And that is not normal." He said with a smile. "So what am I suppose to do?" I was not sure if he was making me out or asking me to be his girlfriend. "I was asking if you would let me know you better? I would like us to be partners in the future." He looked at me. "Would you like to go out with me?" He asked looking nervous. I contemplated on answering him. "Can I think about it first?" I was serious about thinking about it. "Okay, but please don't keep me waiting." Nathan said. I didn't answer but he got the message. Nathan offered me a ride to the apartment. The ride was awkwardly silent.

We arrived and I stayed a while in the car. "Are you okay?" Nathan asked. I was consumed about what Nathan had said. "Lisah!?" "Yes, oh sorry what were you saying?" I said. "Well it seems you are not okay. Do you want me to help you to your apartment?" He asked. "Oh no. Thank you for the ride and the gift. Good bye" I got out of the car. Nathan drove off
