Grace was excitedly talking to Phoebe, but when she looked to her side, Phoebe was nowhere to be seen! Grace knew there were wolves in the mountains, but she didn't want to think about the possibilities of wolves, bears, or mountain lions.

Grace began to panic.  Her stomach was in knots.  She wished today had never happened!  Grace continued hiking in hopes that she would find Phoebe.  She was unsucsessful.  She kept on hiking until she found an abandoned camp.  She set a fire with her lighter in the pit of rocks, and she set up the tent that was in her suitcase.  She was still determined that Phoebe was out there, and that she would find her.

Grace got up from a short nap and began to realize that Phoebe still hadn't turned up.  It was devastating.  She had a special bond with Phoebe, and she was gone.  Grace sat down next to the fire that was dampened by the rain, scared and alone.
