(Caleb's POV)

I opened my hand as an offering but she didn't take it. Kinda feeling a little shot down. Our drinks came and I called Nathan over to get his and the kids'. They took theirs and he gave me a hopeful look and a little wink. I looked back implying that nothing had happened. Just through looks I knew that he understood. It was a twin thing. Sometimes it was useful to constantly have him in my head. Tori and I stood up and accepted our drinks.

"Hey you wanna go for a walk?" She asked with a smile. There was still hope for us!

"Yeah sure, where do you wanna go?" I asked, probably sounding completely desperate.

"Um, I dont know. There's a park around here I think, right?" Tori replied.

We walked out of the smoothie shop and headed toward the nearest park. She zipped my sweater around her body and braced the wind. While we were walking down the sidewalk, I felt the back of her hand brush the back of mine. I couldn't tell if it was an accident or not so I tried to ignore it...then it happened again and I thought it was on purpose so I decided to go for it.

I wrapped my hand around hers. They fit together perfectly, like they were completely meant for each other. I just smiled at her, and she smiled back.

"This is nice" she said, walking a little closer.

We walked in silence for a while, soaking up the moment. We arrived at the park and found a bench to sit at.

"Soo, what do you wanna do now?" I asked her.

"Umm we could play a game!" she replied. I gave her a weird look. A game seemed kind of childish. "It'll be funny, I promise" she added.

I decided to go along with it. "Haha okay. What game?"

"It's just called questions. I ask you a question. You answer honestly and then ask me your own question, or you pass if you dont wanna answer and I get to ask another." she explained. It seemed easy enough.

"Okay you start then." I said.

"Okay umm..." she made a thinking face. "Favorite color?"

"Blue." I answered. "Favorite food?" This still seemed kinda silly.

"Lemons." she said surprisingly.

"Lemons?!" I asked for clarification.

"Yup! Haha, last person you had a crush on?" she asked.

"What?" I was really confused.

"What's the name of the last girl you had a crush on?" she clarified.

"Um, her name was Jessica. We kinda had a thing for a bit but she found this other guy named Dylan. We're still friends though." I said. I didn't care anymore. I just told her. "I'm over it now though."

"Awe I'm sorry" she said. It seemed sincere.

"So umm, current guy you have a crush on?" I asked her. She smiled and I already knew her answer.

"Oh you know, just this guy that randomly showed up in my seat on the bus one morning."

"Wow, who ever that is must be super rude!" I replied teasing her.

"Oh no! He's actually really nice! His name is Caleb, ever heard of him?" she said. That's when I knew it, I liked her. A lot.

"Nope! Man I wish I knew him. He seems like a cool guys..." I winked at her. It actually probably looked more like an eye spasm but it's the thought that counts...right?

"I hear he sings a little...but I've never gotten to hear him!" She said with and over exaggerated frown which immediately turned into a smile as she giggled.

"Do you really wanna hear me sing?" I asked, cutting the act.

"YES!"

"Umm okay...." I searched my brain for a song to sing. This is hard without Nathan but I was pretty sure I could do it on my own. Even without a guitar. "Well this is just something Nathan and I have been working on." I worked out the beat in my head and started a second later.

"The stars look so beautiful tonight.

I begin to realize, that they always got their shine

cause they're lookin' at you, my baby."
