Kelendria POV

"Look, I don't want to be rude, but it's been fifteen minutes, and I still haven't got my iced frappé," the rude old lady pointed out for the seventeenth time. Yeah, I been counting, but there's nothing else better to do while standing here waiting for someone to come and fix this damn machine.

"Listen here, I don't want to be rude either, but I can't help but be when you stay asking about your frappé. Now, I don't know if you can see or not with those ancient eyeballs, but the only frappé machine in this coffee shop is broken, and I certainly ain't know how to fix it and I doubt you do, so you either wait right here until it's done or you get the hell out of my damn shop."

She stared at me with eyes wider than the Pacific Ocean. I just smirked at her and pointed over to the exit like Bitch, the door.🚪👈🏃

"Kelly can y- what's going on?" I looked up to see my best friend Beyoncé walking through the door.

Beyoncé POV

I was supposed to have the day off today but Tim called telling me he had to go take care of Kelly's birthday surprise, leaving Kelly to keep the coffee shop running alone. Hmm.

Kelly usually works in the back in the kitchen since she's an amazing cook, but she's really bad at serving customers. She gets real sharp real quick, and she gets pissed off with all the machines. Like one time, she broke the cashier. She didn't realise that it automatically popped out after the customer pays, so when it happened it scared the shit out of her so much that she kicked it and it got jammed. She shouldn't be serving customers.

I was proved right when I walked in the coffee shop to complete silence, and saw Kelly all up in a customer's face. The old lady turned to face me, and that's when I realised that it was my Monday morning regular, Mary.

"Oh, Miss Beyoncé, I'm so glad you're here. Will you please tell this girl to stop being so rude to me, and that I just want my iced frappé," she said walking over to me.

"Yo I heard that, don't think I got ancient ears too like you! I ain't no girl, I'm a grown woman!" Kelly yelled across the room. I darted my eyes at her.

"Kelly, get your black ass in that kitchen now!" I slightly yelled through gritted teeth.

She stormed off stomping her feet like a little kid. Grown woman my ass.

"I am so sorry Mary, that is my co-worker Kelendria, she is not very experienced with handling customers, she is usually working in the kitchen."

"Well I dread to wonder what occurs in that kitchen. I shan't be visiting for a while longer Miss Beyoncé, I have been highly traumatised and I feel utterly tormented. Until next time," Mary choked out, hurrying out of the shop. Fuck, I lost a fucking regular. Fuck fuckedy fuck. FUCK.

I shook my head cursing under my breath, not giving a damn about anyone else in this damn coffee shop right now. I stormed into the kitchen to see Kelly sipping some tea. This bitch.

"Oh don't mind me while I just sip my t-"

I cut her off, "Do you not realise I just lost a fucking customer because of your arrogant ass?!"

"Actually, I think the word you're looking for is petty, but go on," Kelly butted in.

I sighed, "Look, I know we agreed that you weren't gonna serve any customers, but when duty calls you gotta step up Kels. You and Tim are financially comfortable since you both working, but this is the only money I be getting and being on my own I can't afford to lose any of it. Mary was a regular paying customer and we just lost a good twenty dollars a week now she's not coming back."
