Never Trust Nanners

It was dark when we jogged home. I walked side by side with Nogla. Joe and Song were trotting up ahead of us. David had put glasses on and I kept teasing him about it. Suddenly someone grabbed my arm from behind and pulled me away from David. I felt a cold knife be pressed against my throat. David turned around and pulled a gun out from the back of his pants and pointed to the man holding me.

"Drop the gun, or we shot you." The man next to the one holding me said.

I looked over and saw a red mario hat on him, but instead of an m, it had a c on it. I looked down and saw a snake next to my feet, and I looked back to David.

"All we want is the girl" The man holding me said.

The man started to drag me backwards until he suddenly stopped. I heard the click of a gun, but it was neither Davids or Mario hats.

"Let the girl go, or you won't walk away Ze." A voice that sounded like it belonged to a 5 year old said.

The man pushed me away and I stumbled forward. David reached out and grabbed my arm, pushing me behind him. Song and Joe pressed themselves in front of us and they started to growl. I saw Lui and Tyler standing behind the two muggers, both of them having their guns aimed at them.

"Alright Chilled, why do you want the girl?" Lui asked.

"Her brother is offering a pretty penny to bring her back to him. So Nanners sent us to find her." Chilled said.

"Too bad, she's ours. Touch her again and I won't be afraid to shoot you between the eyes." Tyler added in.

Both men pocketed their guns and left down an ally. Tyler's pig trotted up to Song and Joe and started to sniff them. Lui and Tyler walked up to us and Gummy worm jumped over to me and sat on my shoulder.

"I hate Nanners. You can never trust him." Tyler said and walked away. I followed him and Gummy jumped back to Lui. I walked side by side with Lui with David and Tyler in front of us.

"Was that you who did the kid voice?" I asked him.

"Yeah. The guys call it my squeaker voice."

'It was cute."

He blushed and looked away. We walked in silence after that. Once we got back to the house, we were the last ones who had gotten there. Evan stood in the middle of the living room, and he did not look happy.

"Where have you been? It does not take this long to get here." He said fuming.

I stood behind the guys, and I peered out to see Evan. His eyes shot to me and his frown went deeper.

"We got jumped by Chilled and Ze. Felix has sent out word that he will pay someone to bring Christine back, so Nanners sent them out to get her." Tyler told Even.

"Fine. We need to keep a better eye on her. Go to bed men, we have to go get that shipment tomorrow. Christine, you will be staying here with Brian."

And with that he walked to the basement and disappeared. I walked to my room with Song hot on my tail. I changed into white sweat pants and another tank top, crawling into bed and falling into a dreamless sleep.
