Gummy Worm?

I looked wide eyed at Jon, million of thoughts going through my mind.

"Why would you want me in your gang?" I asked, not moving my eyes from his blue ones.

He lifted his mask and gave me a wicked grin. Evan squeezed my shoulder and leaned down to my face.

"As you know, your brothers gang is top dog around here. And I want to change that. I have worked so hard to become the second best. And I will not stop until we become the best."

"So how do Mark and I fall into this?"

"What's the best way to make a man worry? Take his only family. Once he knows you joined a different gang, he will become upset and stop caring about his own gang, making it fail. So what do you say? Have a member of your gang die? Or to join us and let him leave unharmed."

I sat there, staring at Mark. His brown eyes looking into mine. A tear escaped his left eye, knowing that either way, we can't win. Marks jacket pocket started to move, and his squirrel Freddy popped his head out. Once he saw unfamiliar humans, he hid again.

My head dropped, my long brown hair hiding my face.

"I'll join, but he can't be harmed." I quietly said.

Evan hand slapped my back.

"Good girl. Brian and Brock, take him to an ally and knock him out. Felix and his buddies will find him sooner or later. As for you Christine, you are now part of the Banana Bus Crew."

Brock and Brian picked Mark up by his arms and dragged him out of the room. Evan, Jon, and a man with zebra striped pants walked after them. Craig and a tall man with dark hair were left in the room. Craig walked over and untied me. He stepped over to the cage that was holding Song and opened the cage door. She hopped out and jumped to my lap. I looked at the tall man.

"Who are you?" I questioned him.

"Im David. But the guys call me Nogla." he said with an irish accent.

He stepped forward and help his hand out for me to shake. I put my hand in his and smiled at him. I let go of his hand a noticed the dog by his feet. He looked down at it too.

"That's Joe. He's shy until you get to know him. Then he's very annoying."

I grabbed Song and set her on the floor, standing up and walking to the door with David and Craig behind me. I walked up the stairs and opened the door that entered the kitchen. I noticed that the door was disguised as a wall. A man with a monkey on his shoulder sat at the kitchen counter sharing a banana. The man noticed me first and he gave me a smile.

"Hello! I'm Lui. And this is Gummy Worm." The short man said.

"That's an uncommon name." I giggled.

He gave the rest of the banana to Gummy and walked out of the kitchen. I walked into the living room to find the man with zebra pants and another man with a small black and white a panda on his head playing a game on the wii. The round ended and Nogla and Craig joined them. I sat in a chair next to the couch and Song leaped onto my lap. Out of the corner of my eye I watched a pink pig crawl out from under the coffee table. It trotted over to me and sniffed my leg.

Song jumped my leg and they both started to sniff each other. Song wagged her tail and they both crawled under the table.

'At lest she's getting along with someone.'
