Chapter 22

Tessa's POV

"I've uploaded the 'On The Spot Video' if you want to watch it." Tobi told me, walking out of his bedroom.
"Okay, I'll watch it after this." I smiled at him and continued watching Simons vlog from the other day, the one where he asked how many likes he had to get before I could make a YouTube channel.
"Wow, thanks." He placed a hand over his heart dramatically whilst pretending to look hurt.
"Anytime." I grinned up at him as I was sitting at the table and he was standing behind me. "Kidding, but I hate stopping a video half way through so I'm gonna have to watch it after this."
"Don't worry, it's fine." I tilted my head up as he placed a kiss on my forehead and headed into the kitchen. "When are you going back to school?" He asked.
"Why? You getting sick of me already?" I teased him.
"Obviously," He rolled his eyes, "kidding, I'm just curious."
"Next week, unfortunately." I sighed.
"It'll be fine, don't worry. Jess will probably be scared of you."
"I highly doubt it." I chuckled, scrolling down the page slightly to see that Simon had almost reached 90k likes on his video... shit.
"Well, there's two ways this could go," he started, "she could either beat the shit out of you, or, be absolutely petrified of you. What do you think it's going to be?"
"Honestly, I have no idea. But I hope she's scared." I said, playing Tobi's new video, cringing slightly when I saw my face.

"I'm going 'round to the Sidemen house to get some of the new merch, if you wanna come?" Tobi offered, sitting next to me on the couch.
"Yeah, sure. I haven't seen the guys in a while." I smiled. I stood from the couch and decided to leave my crutches behind. They were annoying me now. I'm sure it wouldn't be too bad to walk around a little bit in a moon boot. We left the flat and headed down to the car park.
The ride there was quite short, as per usual, so we only got to rap along to two songs.
"Hello? Anyone home?" Tobi called out as we entered the house.
"No, go away!" I heard Josh say from the kitchen.
"Okay, I won't bring you a Dr. Pepper then." Tobi and I laughed as Josh came sprinting to the front door, but was soon disappointed when he saw we didn't have any Dr. Pepper.
"Leave," He stared at us blankly, "You do not say you have Dr. Pepper when you don't. It's not allowed."
"Okay... Well, I came for clothes so I'm gonna grab them." Tobi said, breaking the silence.
"And, I'm going to go see Vik." I started jogging up the stairs and I was soon outside his door. I knocked on it and waited for a reply, which I got after a short while. "Hey."
"Oh, hey." He took his headphones off and put them down on his desk as I took a set on the edge of his bed.
"How have you been?" I asked, still thinking of the last time I saw him.
"Better. I've still been getting shit but I don't really care as much as I used to." He pulled his sweater sleeves down, which worried me. I used to do the same thing.
"Hey Vik, can you pull your sleeves up please?" I said softly. His face went pale and he shook his head violently. "Please." His sleeves slowly rose up his arm and red gashes were revealed. I got up and hugged him.
"Please don't tell anyone." He whispered in my ear.
"I won't," I promised, tightening the hug. One of the people that made me quit this, is now doing it to himself? This isn't right. I let go of him and looked him in the eye before speaking, "since I've promised you this, will you promise me you won't do it again?" He hesitated before nodded his head slightly. "if you need anything, call me. Please."
"Alright."
"Thank you," I smiled at him, "well, I'm going downstairs, you coming?"
"I'll be down in a bit, just gotta finished editing this video." He said, putting his headphones back on a turning back to his screen.
"Alright." I walked out of the room and shut the door behind me, heading down the stairs, but I paused when I heard voices.
"Tobi, you need to tell her. It's her uncle for fucks sakes." Josh said.
"I can't now. It's been too long since it happened and she'll be pissed at me because I didn't tell her straight away." Tobi spoke next.
"I know you don't want to make her angry, Tobs," Is that Freya? "but you really do need to tell her. She'll be extra pissed when she finds out you didn't tell her straight away, and this is coming from a girl."
"Fine, I'll tell her. But how do I bring it up, 'speaking of Nandos, your uncle threatened us all and said that he has teamed up with Jess and said he's going to kill us all if unless you go back to him'?"
"It isn't going to be easy, but you need to tell her. Just so she can be aware of what's happening." Simon?
"What do you mean he's threatening you all?" I snapped, stepping into the kitchen.
"Tess, I've been meanin-"
"I don't want to hear it Tobi." I stormed out of the house and limped down the street, not knowing where I was actually headed until I reached a familiar street. The street I lived on for the worst years of my life. I ran, as best as I could with a moon boot, down the road, heading for my Uncles house.
The sound of screeching tyres rang through my ears as everything else seemed to move in slow motion. The blonde hair of the driver caught my eye before everything went black.

A/N

This was written at 1 in the morning yet it's probably one of my better chapters as stuff is actually happening.

But poor Vik. I almost cried writing it.

But yerr, I hope you enjoyed it. I know I'm really bad at updating but now that shits going down, I might write a little bit more, ya never know
