Chapter 18

Tessa's Point Of View

"Simon, you should invite Amelia over." I smiled to him.
"Why?" He asked, looking extremely confused.
"Because, she seems cool." I sat down at the bench.
"I might..." He started "We should go out for dinner. You, Tobi, me and Amelia."
"Yeah sounds good, I'll go tell Tobi." I stood up and skipped off to find Tobi.
"Hey Tess." He smiled to me.
"Hey, Simon and I were thinking we should go on a double date kinda thing." Why was I being awkward.
"Double date? Who's Simon going with?" He asked, confused.
"Do you remember Amelia from a couple weeks ago?" He nodded. "Yeah her."
"Oh okay. When are we going?" He said.
"Erm, I'm not sure. I'll ask Simon." I walked back into the kitchen where Simon was standing, staring at his phone.
"When and where are we going?" I said, but he ignored me. "Hello? Earth to Simon." I waved my hand in front of his face.
"Oh sorry. What d'you say?" I looked at him, pretending to be annoyed.
"I said, when and where are we going?" I repeated.
"Oh, right. Uhm, I haven't thought of that yet." He dragged. "Chinese or something?"
"Ooh, we should go to one of those places where they cook it in front of you. What are those called?" I thought about it but it didn't come to me.
"Teppenyaki?" He suggested.
"Yeah that." I laughed, "Let's go to one of them."
"Okay, are you and Tobi gonna go home and change or are you just gonna stay in that?" He gestured to my outfit I had worn at school that day.
"Depends what Tobi wants to do." I walked back to where Tobi was and asked him if he wanted to change. He said yes so we decided we would pop home quickly and put something a bit nicer on.

I rummaged through my messy draws, desperate for something to wear. Eventually, I found my black skater skirt and my criss-cross type singlet crop top. I paired it with my low-cut black and white converse and did my hair in 2 dutch braids. I did my make-up quickly, but nicely, and was very happy with my appearance. I walked into the lounge, where Tobi was sitting, and jump on the seat next to him.
"You look very cute." He complimented me.
"Thanks, you look pretty 'swag' yourself." I said, making us both cringe. "Sorry that was weird, but you do look very good in that."
"Thanks. Ready?" He asked, standing up and grabbing his keys from the coffee table in front of him.
"Yep." I stood up next to him and we walked out, hand in hand.

"Amelia!" I squealed as I heard someone knock on the door. I opened it but was disappointed when I saw Behz instead. "Oh, it's just you." I turned around and walked back to Simon and Tobi.
"Love you too." He joked.
"I'm kidding, how are you?" I said as I turned back around and gave him a hug.
"I'm good, you?" He replied.
"Decent. Why are you here anyways? Are you filming with someone?" I asked.
"Yeah, gonna go up stairs and film a video with Josh and maybe Vik, I'm not sure yet." He informed me, "Where are you going?"
"On a double date." I smiled.
"With who?" He said.
"It'll be me and Tobi, and Simon and Amelia, who should hopefully be here soon." I replied, looking at my phone.
"Oh okay, well I should better get upstairs before Josh kills me. Bye guys." Ethan quickly walked upstairs before there was another knock on the door.
"This has to be Amelia." I said to myself. I open the door, and luckily it is.
"Tessa!" She squealed.
"Amelia!" I mocked.
"Simon didn't say you were here." She laughed, pulling me in for a hug.
"Oh, well we're going on a double date." I smirked, pulling away from our embrace.
"Ooh, do you know where?" She asked, coming inside the house.
"One of them Teppenyaki places." I replied as we walked into the kitchen.
"One of them what-nows?" She said, confused.
"You know those places where they cook in front of you? Yeah that." I told her as I went and stood next to Tobi.
"When are we going?" I whined while I rested my head on his shoulder.
"Soon, hopefully." He kissed my cheek.
"Good, I'm hungry." I giggled.
"Shall we go then?" Simon suggested, grabbing his keys and swinging them on his finger.
"Please, I'm starving." I begged. We exited the house and climbed into Simons car. Him and Amelia were in the front seats, whilst Tobi and I were in the back, taking weird photos with the SnapChat filters. 
"Oh, dear." Tobi said with the deer filter covering our faces.
"I have no I deer why I'm dating you." I laughed, making the others laugh too.
"You're a nonce." He teased me as he posted the video onto his SnapChat story.
"Thank you." I smiled like an idiot.
"We're here." Simon called from the front. We all climbed out of Simon's Range Rover and walked into the Teppenyaki restaurant.

"I'm so full." I laughed, sitting back and rubbing my stomach. 
"Me too." Amelia said, copying my actions.
"You guys are weak." Simon giggled at us, finishing off Amelia's food.
"Shut up, fatty." I stuck my tongue out at him.
"Ouch." He replied, pretending to be offended.
"I'm kidding, you're a fucking twig." I said, pointing at his lanky body.
"Yeah, how do you do it? You eat so much but you're so skinny, how?" Amelia adds, poking his sides.
"It's because I-I actually don't know." He laughed.

I know this is a bit shorter than usual I just didn't have any ideas on how to end it without dragging it on for too long, I hope that's okay with you :)

Plus, my sister legitimately bagged me to publish this chapter, I tried to get her to buy me something but she has no money :( but anyways, enjoy :)
