Elizabeth was practically skipping throughout the mall, a wide smile spread across her lips. She had bought so many new things ranging from lingerie and clothes to new makeup and books. She was glad the boys didn't give her a spending limit. Sure, she had spent a lot just in that short amount of time but, she was completely happy. She walked into a coffee shop and plopped down, giving her now aching feet a break. "Shopping spree?" Elizabeth smiled and nodded. "Yeah, as a gift to my self." both women grinned. "Birthday?" Elizabeth shook her head. "Nope, wedding." or mating but, Elizabeth wasn't about to say that. "Oh, congrats! May I sit down?" Elizabeth grinned and nodded. "Of course!" the woman smiled and sat in front of Elizabeth. "So, when did this marriage happen if you don't mind my asking?" Elizabeth stretched her feet a moment before replying. "A week ago." the woman grinned once again. "Oh, nice." she paused a moment and gasped. "Oh! I'm Danny." she stuck her hand out and Elizabeth happily shook it. "Elizabeth. It's nice to meet you." Danny nodded.  "So, when did you move here?" Elizabeth raised an eyebrow. "I only meant you have a different accent! I'm sorry!" Elizabeth giggled.

"It's fine, don't worry about it. I moved here a week ago, a few hours before my wedding actually." Danny's brows raised. "Yeah. I'm actually from a town over about a day's drive from here." Danny smiled and leaned back into her chair. "Oh? Wow, I was born and raised in this boring place but, it's home. I  could never leave." Elizabeth smiled and looked down at her lap. "I thought so too about my home town. I was so hellbent on staying but when I decided to marry the other half of me, I knew I had to leave." Danny's eyes lit up in girlish glee. "Oh! That sounds so romantic!! How was the ceremony?" The girls giggled and Elizabeth checked her phone a moment. "Well, it was in the middle of the forest, near the community, and the stars were twinkling so brightly, it was almost as if they were praising our marriage." Elizabeth and sighed softly. "It smelt of earth and the air was very chilled but, it felt so nice and perfect." Danny hugged her coffee cup to her lips. "That sounds like something out of a movie," she whispered in awe and Elizabeth nodded. "It felt like I was in one." Danny smiled and checked her phone before jumping up, nearly spilling coffee all over herself. "I got work in like thirty minutes!! Can I have your number?" Elizabeth nodded and was quick to input her number for the woman. "I'll text you when I get off work!" With that, Danny scrambled off.

Elizabeth liked Danny, she seemed like such a sweet and funny woman. She needed a female friend, one that was normal and human. Suddenly her phone started vibrating. "Hello?" There was a sigh. "Hey, we're coming out there. One of our wolves got shot and he got taken to the wrong ward of the hospital. The hospital staff are starting to ask questions so meet us there, okay?" Elizabeth was slack jaw. "I-uh, yeah. I'll see you there." She hung up and rushed from the mall and to her car with her ton of bags.  She was practically running to the car. She was worried about becoming exposed, she was worried about the pack member. If they figured out that he wasn't fully human, gods know what they would do to him... Elizabeth was going about 80-90 miles an hour, trying to get there as fast as she could. When she did arrive, she was quick to find Victor waiting for her. "Where is Victor?" she asked, worry filling her voice. "He is up trying to talk to the doctors. Let's check you in and then we'll head up there." Elizabeth nodded and walked up to the desk. "She's here with Victor and Lucas Hassell to see Jule Kian." the nurse looked up at the duo. "What's your name, sweetie?"

Elizabeth smiled. "Elizabeth Hassell." She took Victor's hand. It was the first time she had to say her new last name and it elicited glee. "Alright, thank you." Victor drug her to the elevator and smashed a button. "Hey," she whispered, placing a hand on his arm. "look at me." the elevator began to move and Victor's eyes bore into hers. "Everything will be alright." she whispered and pecked his lips. "I promise." sure, she shouldn't promise him something she couldn't control but, she could try. "Alright." he murmured and rest his forehead in hers. "Good... Just breathe, alright?" Victor nods and when the elevator door slides open, he leads her to Jule's room. Lucas was standing defensively as three nurses stood on the other side of the bed. "I told you before, he has consented to any tests. He was just shot and he needs to be treated for such." The nurses seemed frustrated. "Mr. Hassell, there were abnormalities with Mr. Kian's blood test. All we need to ensure there is nothing serious." Elizabeth glanced up at Victor who nodded. "My love?" Lucas's gaze snapped over to Elizabeth and he visibly relaxed, welcoming her into an embrace. "Thank God your here." he whispered. "I was about to snap."
