Chapter 2: preparing for the big day

Elizabeth stared at her reflection. She loved the way she looked. The dress she wore was flashy, showing off the right curves where needed but it was also elegant. It flowed down gracefully to her feet and would easily flow in the wind. "Ready?" Elizabeth looked up and saw Lindsay, Alpha Lucas's cousin. "Ready as I can be." She muttered softly and Lindsay sighed. "Sit, let's talk real quick." Elizabeth did as she was told and fiddled with her fingers. It had been about four hours since she arrived and she was so confused by all that was happening. "I don't know what to do... How can someone have more than one mate? Why me?" Her head hung and Lindsay rubbed her back. "I understand it's hard but you'll love it. They are best guys in the world and I'm not just saying that. Each one is unique and you'll get a unique experience with the two of them."

*Four hours Prior*

"-and my mom is human so it was a pretty big deal in our pack." Elizabeth sat beside Alpha Lucas and listened as he spoke. His words lulled her and she enjoyed the way his silky voice sounded in her ears. Sure, it was an odd thought but her wolf was really the one taking over. "You know, it's not nice to drool when someone is talking." Elizabeth gasped and wiped her mouth but found nothing. Pouting, she glared at Alpha Lucas. "Meanie.." She huffed and he laughed. "Awe, come on kitten, I'm only teasing." Lucas probed her sides and she began to giggle. "Ticklish are we?" He grinned widely and continued his assault on her sides. A growl was heard and both froze.

"And why didn't you introduce her?" Elizabeth couldn't help but shiver, as clichéd as it sounded. The way his voice was...it was so much different from Lucas's voice..much more gruff and raspy..she loved it. "Elizabeth, this my twin brother, Victor." Elizabeth looked up and her breath was caught in her throat. Holy hell was he hot. He had the same Carmel brown skin as Lucas, a bit more muscular, he had the same broad shoulders, same nose, same plump and full lips, and everything just as Lucas except his hair. His hair was much shorter and was spiked and to be quite honest, she wanted to jump his bones. "Mate..." She whispered softly in a low, seductive growl.

Her wolf had taken over once more though what scared her the most was the fact that she had two mates. How in the hell did she have two mates?! Her wolf maybe completely fine with the idea, and sure, the thought of mating with two men excited her, she was not too keen in the fact of having two mates. "Elizabeth," Victor purred and pulled her into his chest. "It does not surprise me you are her mate too, Victor." Lucas replied calmly. "We've always shared our women." He teased and Elizabeth tensed.

Women? How many women have they already slept with? She pulled away, much to her wolfs' dismay and studied the two. She wanted to question how many women they had slept with and sure, the thought angered Elizabeth's wolf but her mind was completely blank. It was as if she was in a trance at this point. Both men in front of her were drop dead gorgeous and she was having a hard time controlling herself. "Did you introduce her to mom?" Victor asked Lucas, causing Elizabeth to come back to reality. "No, I was just explaining to her about our parents." Victor nodded and held out an arm. "Care to walk with me?" Victor asked her, his eyes now bright and his smile wide. She looked at Alpha Lucas who nodded approvingly.

"Alpha Lucas," Elizabeth began but he held up a hand. "Just Lucas, Elizabeth, you can call me Alpha when we mate." That statement caused the girl to blush immensely. Victor and Lucas began chuckling lowly to themselves and pecked her cheek. "She is adorable " Victor commented and Lucas couldn't help but agree. "Victor Alexander Hassell!"

Victor tensed and groaned inwardly. "Uh oh, did Mr. Victor forget to do something?" Lucas asked in a teasing manner, causing Victor to growl. "Shut up, asshole." He spat and led Elizabeth inside. What she saw amazed her. The alpha house she in was immaculate. Sure, the alpha house in her previous pack was nice but this... Her eyes were wide. "You should close that mouth before make you have a reason to keep it open." Victor whispered and winked, causing Elizabeth to blush once again.

Lucas gazed at her and Elizabeth caught his gaze. His eyes were a much darker color and the sight made her panties become drenched. She knew that look all to well. It was the look she saw mates give each other and that look meant a mating. Her heart quickened and she pursed her. She knew they couldn't mate until the ceremony between the two packs but God did she want him.. As well as Victor. The feelings she felt in her belly was insane.

"Come on, Kitten, we should go before I decide to take you now." He mumbled and kissed Elizabeth on her forehead. "O-ok." She stammered and gripped his hand as he led her into the kitchen. She saw Victor pouting as he did dishes and upon looking over, she saw a woman with her arms crossed. "Just because you are alpha does not give you the right to leave the dishes for your mother!" She scolded and Victor whined.

"You too Lucas!" She added before looking at the girl beside him. "Oh! I'm sorry, I'm Rachel, these two knuckleheads mother." Elizabeth smiled and shook her hand. "I'm Elizabeth." She stated and Rachel smiled. "You have a beautiful name, Elizabeth." The girl smiled and thanked her before turning to Lucas, seeing him gaze at her once again. "So adorable.." He mumbled and cupped her cheek. Elizabeth smiled and nuzzled his large hand. "Lucas she better not be who I think she is.." Rachel muttered and the make smirked slightly. "Oh definitely not, Mother." Rachel gasped and squealed, causing the three wolves to flinch.

"Oh gosh hun! I am so sorry!! If I would've known I-" "Ma, calm down...your scaring her." Victor said before sliding his arms around Elizabeth's waist. "She's both- oh Christ.." Rachel muttered, placing a hand on her forehead. "Well, better tell Lindsay." She muttered to her self and Elizabeth cocked her head. "She is their cousin. She's been waiting for this for years. Honestly, she acts more like a sister than a cousin." Rachel explained. Elizabeth exhaled shakily. Rachel did seem nice but she seemed a bit overwhelmed from the news. "It was nice meeting you, Luna." Elizabeth replied with a smile and this caused Rachel to smile once again.

"No need to call me that Elizabeth. I'm not Luna anymore, haven't been since these two became Alpha." She looked up at her mates and studied them. Their eyes were locked and it became apparent they were having a mental conversation. "Come on, I'll take you to her. She'll prepare you for tonight."

*Present*

"You look incredibly beautiful though, Lizzie." Lindsay assured and she smiled. Lindsay was similar to the twins look wise. The only difference was that she was a lighter shade of skin, her hair was brunette, her eyes were smoky grey, and her facial features were soft. "I made sure to make you sexy for them." Lindsay added a second later, causing Elizabeth to giggle.

Lindsay led her to the mirror where Elizabeth gazed at her reflection. Her own skin was a more olive complexion given how often she was outside, her eyes were a simple hazel but the smoky eye make up caused them to pop and she loved that. Her normally pale pink lips were now a reddish color, making them appear more full than they already were. Her dark brown hair which was without in a pony tail or down, was now in a nearly placed bun, her bangs curled at the sides of her face. "I know it's a bit clichéd looking but it really does look good on you." Lindsay commented and Elizabeth smiled. "I don't mind, I love it." Though her happiness was suddenly replaced with anxiousness and nervousness. "Let's go, don't want to keep the pack waiting."
