Chapter 12

AGGIE'S P.O.V

Since Dwena went to her house and so did Chiko it was just me and the drunk baby.

"Gosh, this baby is heavy than I thought," I said

"Mommy, I want more pancakes please," Kaila said in her little dream.

"Oh, you will get your pancakes," I said thinking of hitting her with a pillow tomorrow morning.

Once I reached home, I slowly opened the door, and quietly pull Kaila inside the living room.

"Mom, I think I want to use the bathroom," Kaila said wiping her hand on my face.

"Well, you should go yourself," I said wiping my face.

"No," she said, " I want you to come with me, I'm scared of the boogey man."

"Ugh.. fine. Come on." I said carrying her. Again.

When we reached the bathroom, she finally let go of me and then started to walk by herself to the toilet, while I stand there watching her. Then she turned at me and said, "No peeking," pointing at me.

I raised my hands up and I turned around showing my back at her. While I was waiting I heard something slam on the toilet seat, when I looked back and Kaila was knocked out on the toilet seat.

"Oh, this is even more epic," I chuckeled, then I pulled out my phone and took a photo of her. Then I heard footsteps from across the hall and when I looked it was my dad.

"Aggie, whats that sound?" he asked.

"Oh, nothing. Just a guest," I said poiting inside the bathroom. He walked towards me and looked inside, and gasped.

"Is that Simon's daughter?" he asked and I nodded.

He crossed his arms and gave me one of his terrifying father looks which is serious.

"What?" I said to him

"What did you do to her?" he asked.

"Nothing, she's just like this," I said, because if I told him I took her to Sweetie's he would ground me for weeks. I mean, can't blame me if that place is awesome.

"Come on, let's take her to your room," he said trying to carry her.

"Why is she going in to my room?" I said

"She's sleeping with you," he said carrying her on his back. When he said that I just froze and he walked away with her. When I looked at Kaila, she opened her eyes and looked at me and gave me a wink and went back to sleep.

"And this is why I don't want siblings," I said to myself following my dad to my room.

~ after "stuff your suppose to do before bed time" ~

I stood in my room watching Kaila sleeping on my bed. how could she sleep, it's past seven and she's already out. Besides she took the whole bed. I walked up to her and push her to the side, and I laid next to her. I pull the sheets for us to share, and when I was about to fall asleep Kaila pull the whole sheet for herself.

"Seriously," I said pulling the whole thing to me, and then she pulled it back. I grunted and lay on the bed without a sheet. When my eyes were about to close, something heavy landed on my stomach, when I looked it was Kaila's legs. I pushed her legs off, and then her head moved to my head, and her hands pushing me off the bed.

I got so frustrated so I stood up and took my pillow and another sheet. When I look at Kaila, I wanted to throw her out but she's my cousin, so I let her sleep. Besides if I did I couldn't take another picture of her sleeping like this. Arms and legs are wide open, with her face and body facing down.

"Ha. Kids," I thought.

So I went to the living room, and put two couches together and slept there.

~ the next morning ~

KAILA'S P.O.V

I slept like a baby and curled up to one side and then to the other side. When I opened my eyes I was literally got up because this is not my room. I look all around and be like, did my parents change my room? Or am I in someone else's house? Gasp. What if I've been kidnapped? Oh, no. Oh, no.

I quickly got out of the room and slowly walked through the hall. Passing a room that I think it was the kidnappers, because I can hear snoring. When I reached the living room, I heard footsteps walking towards me. I quickly hid under the table.

"Yeah, she's here sleeping. Don't worry, we'll look after her, before you come," a lady said talking to the phone.

"What do they want from me?" I thought.

"Ok then I'll to you later then, Bye," the she left the room.

When she was out of sight, I crawled out of the table and tip toed to the door. Once I opened the door slowly.

"Jackpot," I said.

Once I try to walk out I have no idea where I was, then I felt someone behind me, and when it touched me, I freaked out and grabbed that arm, and did what Chiko did. But instead, I grabbed teh arm, and flipped the person over me and then when it landed I kicked it and closed my eyes not knowing who it is. But then,

"KAILA!!!!" a familiar voice yelled at me

I opened my eyes and paused, and then I was shocked because the person I was attacking was Aggie.

"Oh, Aggie. I am so sorry. What are you doing here?" I asked

She got up and took deep breathes and then said, "Was that really necessary?"

"I'm so sorry. I thought you were the kidnappers- *gasp* did they kidnap you to? Oh, we need to get out of here," I said pulling her hand

"Wait, wait. Kidnappers? Me? You? Ha. Ha. Ha. Ha. Ha. Ha." she laughed at me, and I was like," Were kidnapped and yet your laughing? WHAT IS SO FUNNY OF BEING KIDNAPPED?!" I yelled at her.

She stopped laughing and hold on to my hand, and said, "Kaila, you weren't kidnapped, this is my home."

I was about to sy something but then I froze, "What?"

"Kaila, Welcome to the Avery's Fortress," the she walked inside and I followed.

The lady that I heard talking on the phone was just Linda, my aunty, "Hey, Keiki (really, she also know that name) I called your parents they say they'll pick you up tomorrow, so they came this morning to bring your stuff for tonight," she said handing me the bag.

"Oh, thanks," I said keeping my mind out of the "KIDNAPPING" thing.

When she left, I asked Aggie, "So that's aunty, then who's the one snoring in the other room?"

"Really, Kaila. Thats my dad, Philip. Your uncle," she said and then I was like "ooh"

"Breakfast girls," Aunty called.

"Ok, we'll be there mom," Aggie said, " Come on, we need to get ready for school you can go upstairs and change, and there is an extra tooth brush for you, the purple one."

"Oh thanks Aggie," I said going back tom the room Then the room that I thought the kidnapper is sleeping opened and came out a big and tall man, "Morning, Keiki (even he knows that name) hope that my snoring didn't wake you up," he smiled.

"No you didn't, uncle," I smiled too.

When I was about to go in Aggie's room, I looked at Aggie and her parents, it really feel nice to have your parents at home. But I'm glad that I'm with Aggie.
