"Livvvy!"

I cringed slightly at the contact. Adam moved closer, sensing my discomfort, but I motioned for him to stay put. I wasn't in any danger, especially from my baby sister.

"Fee, how was your flight?" I said pulling her off me slowly.

"Too long," she said with a roll of her eyes. Her eyes found Adam standing next to the tinted car and widened. "You have a personal driver?!"

"Kind of. Let's go," I said hurrying her inside the car. Freya liked to make a spectacle out of everything, and the last thing I wanted was any more attention.

"This is so awesome, Liv! That fiancé of yours must be treating you like a queen," she said as she absorbed everything.

"Yeah, he's great," I said.

As much as I disliked what Constantine said, I couldn't deny the fact that she was right. Freya was obsessed with gorgeous, rich and successful men. There was this tiny part of me afraid Elijah will see her and just dump me altogether.

"So, how was Dubai?" I asked changing the subject.

She gushed and spilled all she did while in Dubai. I let her talk, zoning most of what she said out, as we made our way to mom's house. The closer we got, the tighter my stomach became. Constantine was the thunder; Freya was the lightening. This was going to be a stormy reunion with mom.

*******

"Mommy!" Freya nearly knocked mom over as soon as she saw her. Luckily, Constantine was there to steady her while I juggled with Freya's luggage.

"Now all my girls are here," mom said hugging her youngest daughter. I frowned slightly, not expecting her reaction. Just as the thought occurred, mom pinched Freya's nose with enough force to have her scream out. "Now why the hell did you leave without telling your own mother? Do you have any idea how worried I was to wake you one morning, only to find you gone?"

"Mommy, it hurts," she whined. I nodded slightly, feeling more at ease with this reaction. Not only did Freya up and leave in the middle of the night two years ago, her only communication with mom were sporadic postcards.

"Good, you demon child."

"Serves her right," Constantine grumbled. Every head whipped in her direction.

Oh crap.

"You shut the hell up. You barely called me for seven years. You're no better than this heifer. The only one who seems to care enough about me is Olivia," she said angrily.

"Mom, your blood pressure," I said noticing her becoming more heated. I gently removed her hand from Freya's nose and sat her in her seat. "I'll make you some tea, okay?"

I gave my sisters pointed looks before disappearing into the kitchen to make the tea. When I came back into the living room, Freya was busy telling mom and Constantine about the last two years. I passed everyone their tea before settling in-between my sisters. I sipped my tea, drowning out Freya and thinking of my soon-to-be husband.

"So, sis, when do we get to meet Mr. Elijah Harper?" Constantine asked, interrupting Freya.

"Right! When do we get to meet him?" Freya asked excitedly.

"We'll have a family dinner with the Harpers tomorrow night, after Langston gets here," I said.

"Ooh, should be interesting," Freya said with a mischievous smile. "I'm kidding," she said when I glared at her.

"I need you guys to be on your best behavior," I said sternly. "Especially mom and Freya."

"Oh hush, I'm a gem to be around," mom said with a roll of her eyes.
