Synopsis
I don't know if this will be a part of a greater revised version of the original book Matty and The Mermaid or its Sequel, it is written in a way that it can be either or. It was written from another story I had in my pile at home but was going no where and intergrating it into Matty's world seemed both and intersting way perhaps to really finish Matty's story or else make a new one, one that shows his humanistic development. Many have equated (and he does himself say) that he hasn't reached a point where he is looking for anything more then friendship, he understands about things like love and sex but like a kid (some adults too) has either no need nor any desires in it. The Earth or Sea has other plans for him, and a lone Mermaid who never sought to be one and was originally human, Bat Yam is a loner by choice. How Jolene thinks of all that will happen depends on these two, and if this becomes a sequel or a chapter in the original, that depends on the feed back I get.
