Sarah and Alicia's heels clicked across the pavement. They were halfway to their "Destination" Which Sarah refused to tell Alicia te exact location of.  After half an hour of silence, Alicia asked "We're going to visit nate?" "Yes." Sarah replied. "Even though he's not like you remember."

The Nate Alicia remebered was a nerdy kid with hair that stood up on end even without gel, and glasses. He loved science and was a genius, and read books on physics and other things of the same nature constantly. "How so?" Alicia asked, wobbling in her heels, making note not to wear 5-inch heels ever again.

Sarah took a deep breath, giving Alicia a moment to brace herself. "He's a crime lord. Planner of multiple mass murders, serial killings, and assasinations. All of his victims are people he deems 'Not worthy' for todays society."

"And this is Nate we're talking about." Alicia said, voice shaking.

"Yes."

"Our Nate?" Alicia said, tearing up.

"Alicia, I know this isn't....Expected, but this-"

Alicia started crying. Alicia never crys, never. Sarah had only seen her cry once. That was when Alicia's little sister, Bella, was killed in a car accident. Alicia had locked herself in her apartment for days, never coming out. The only time she came out was when Sarah convinced her to go to a coffee shop nearby, only so Alicia wouldn't get as anti-social as Sarah herself.

"Alicia..."

"It's ok, just... just give me a few seconds." Alicia said, attempting and failing to choke back tears.

"We're going to need tears where we're about to be." Sarah said. "Follow me."

They walked a few more blocks, and stopped near an allyway. "We're here." Sarah whispered. The allyway was wide, wide enough for a door to be in the back near a dumpster.

"This is it?" Alicia asked, confused.

"Punch me." Sarah said. Alicia looked confused. "What?" "Just do it!" Sarah commanded, still in a whisper. Alicia replied suit, punching Sarah in the stomach and in the chin, preforming an uppercut.

Sarah dodged Alicia's third punch, intended to hit her in the face, and quickly apologized before hitting Alicia in the ribs and punching her in the face.

"What was that for?" Alicia asked, confused and angry. Sarah was currently on the ground, in a type of huddle. "And why are you on the ground? That kind of attack usually doesn't make you double over."

"It doesn't. Get down here, quick! Act hurt." Alicia layed down, and propped herself on her elbow. Sarah hit a pressure point on her back, making Alicia produce a sharp yelp. In about 30 seconds, the metal door opened, and a thin, wirey, tall man walked out. Sarah glanced at him, and he was wearing black suit pants and a tee-shirt, As if he was in the middle of changing clothes. Sarah recognised the blocky glasses and spikey hair as Nate. As part of the act, she clutched her side and whined. 'Nate' pulled out a gun. "Sorry ladies" He apologised, and Alicia smirked from her position. "For what?" She took her heel off, and spiked him in the back of his ankle, making him fall. Sarah quickly got up, and kicked him in the ribs, making sure he wouldn't get up.

"Nice to see you." Sarah said to Nate.

"And you are?" Nate said, clutching his ribs.

"Sarah Graine, consultant detective, and your former freind from middle school."

Nate groaned.

"And you might remember me." Alicia said

"Of course." Nate said, standing up. He elbowed Sarah and Alicia in the back, making them fall down on the pavement. "Belarouse." Sarah shouted to Alicia while they were both getting up. The word ment more than a city, because when they were in high school, Alicia and Sarah had made code words to tell one another what to do in certain situations. That certain word ment 'I'll distract him/her/them, get your phone and call the police'

Sarah started to "Fence" Him with a piece of broken pipe, while Alicia got her cell. Nate quickly caught onto what they were trying to do, and hit Sarah in the arm,  breaking her right arm. Sarah clenched her teeth through it, and attempted to attack him once more, but nate already got to Alicia, had kicked her down, and knocked her out with a blow to the head.

"This is getting really annoying." Nate said, fuming. He picked his pipe back up, and swung. He hit Sarah in the head with the steel pipe.

And then Sarah blacked out.
