"Hey..."
She answers with the slightest mumble as she concentrates on her screen.
"Heeey..."
She repeats what she mumbled this time a bit fainter as her focus becomes more and more intense as she finishes each chapter.
"Woojinie wants attention." Woojin crosses his arms, pouting at Chai who seemed to put more attention on the webtoon she was reading rather than her own boyfriend.
Aegyo failed.
"I came here super early for you and even skipped breakfast and you're not even giving me attention."
Chai leans forward and plants a kiss on his lips before leaning back on the wall and bringing his head on her shoulder.
"Geez, you sound like the girlfriend in this relationship," Woojin snuggles closer to her and a smile appears on Chai's face, she'd never have thought the grumpy Woojin back then would be such an adorable aegyo-filled boyfriend "Remember, just because you're in a relationship doesn't mean you can slack off. I'm letting you rest now but as soon as the boys arrive, i'm leaving so you can concentrate, alright?"
Woojin nods slightly, his soft hair tickling her neck a bit "You sound like Rhymer." Chai rolls her eyes.
"He was planning this idol group since you and Daehwi came to this company, so work hard and win Produce 101 together, alright?"
The silence made Chai's concentration waver from her webtoon as she glances down at her aegyo-ful yet sometimes manly boyfriend.
Though she found out a while back already that he's known as manly and intimidating due to his shy nature.
"What's the matter? You got quiet all of the sudden."
"I'm usually quiet anyway."
"Not around me."
Woojin bites his bottom lip, not having any comeback because of the truth that sentence held.
He takes a deep breath before opening his mouth to speak.
"It's starts in February. I...won't see you for atleast 5 months...i dont know-"
"Suck it up, kid. I dont want you whining about this when your dream is right there infront of you...you worked too hard just to feel iffy about it now that i'm your girlfriend...dont make me be the reason for your regrets, okay?"
Woojin furrows his eyebrows and that puppydog face was plastered on him.
Chai automatically feels bad, knowing she couldve worded that out better.
"What i mean is...i want the best for you, i want you to achieve your dreams and i'll be there every step of the way with you for as long as you want me to...ofcourse, while you're gone i'm going to be missing you lots too..."
Chai's faint blush on her cheeks puts a smile on Woojin's face, his snaggletooth visible fortunately for Chai.
Woojin loved her tsundere like personality. She's always does and says whatever she wants so moments like this when she gets diffident are moments Woojin will cherish for a long time.
