Chapter 14

"Wake up...Wake up...Wake up" A voice said. Xavier woke up. "Where am I?" He asked. Alex appeared. "You're dreaming son. I'm here to take care of you for now." She said. "Now open wide." Alex had a bowl of soup in her hand, she was feeding him soup. "Why am I here?" Xavier asked. "You are hurt very badly, I'm here to make you feel a little better. Come on, drink your soup." Alex said. Just then Shadow Bonnie came. "Xavier, you did good. I saw you fight William Afton." Shadow Bonnie said. "I will now give you the last bit of strength I have before I leave forever." Shadow Bonnie then disappeared into a bright light. Xavier got up from the bed. "I feel so much better now." He said. He then exited through the door... "It's been past 30 minutes. I'm going inside. One of you call the police and an ambulance." Matt said. He then went back to the underground facility. He looked everywhere, until he found the scooping room. There he saw two bodies. William's and Xavier's bodies, lying side by side. He then ran over to Xavier, he checked for pulse. He was still alive and breathing. Matt then carried Xavier back up to the surface. Leaving William's dead body to rot underground. When Emma and Heather saw Xavier, they were shocked to see his body cut up that bad. The ambulance came and took him to the hospital. They all prayed for Xavier to be alright. Hours passed and still no word from the doctor. Finally after a nearly five hour wait the doctor came out. "Is he ok, doctor?" Matt asked. "Yes he is, he suffered from a severe cut to the right lung. Any closer and that could have stabbed him in the heart. You have a very lucky grandson. You can talk to him right now. Infact after tonight, he's all ready to go home." The doctor said. They all left for the motel. Matt got a separate room from the others. The next day came and they visited the hospital again. Xavier was at the lobby waiting for them. "OH MY GOODNESS XAVIER!!!" Emma said and she ran and hugged him. "Don't ever do that again." She said. "I won't." Xavier said and they kissed. "Ah, young love. I remember my first kiss." Matt said. "Ugh, if only I had a boyfriend." Heather said. "Don't worry Heather, there's a man out there for you one day." They all then greeted and hugged Xavier and were thankful he was ok. At last it was time to go back home. They all looked forward to it. It's been a couple days since they arrived at Hurricane. It was a clear morning, the sun was shining bright over the horizon. "Noooo!!!" Xavier yelled. "What happened?" Matt asked. "My data plan isn't working, darn it, I have to check my Twitter feed. Why must this happen? This stupid phone never works" Xavier said. "Heh, that's good old Xavier for you." Emma said. They all laughed. They eventually set off for Denver to drop Heather off at Aunt Chloe's. They stopped by and Chloe was thankful to see Heather safe and sound. Soon after that, Matt drove the others to the airport...
