When my head hit the pillow last night, I was out. It was the first night I didn't have a nightmare. Dean Samuels always made me comfortable. Even though we fought a lot during our freshman year, we made it through it all. One time we didn't speak for three months even though he sat next to me in our global history class. He made every effort to make up with me and then we were okay.

I woke up to the sound of a recording that Frankie had put on my iPod. "Megan, baby, you got to wake up. I'll tickle you if you don't. I'm coming to kiss -"

I smacked the crap out of the iHome alarm clock. "That needs to be deleted off of my iPod," I said.

I tossed the sheets off my body and shivered. The air conditioner froze my room, forcing me to be cold. Trekking to my armoire, I grabbed the knee highs, underwear and cotton shorts I had put out the night before. My feet softly touched the hard wood floors as they made their way down the hallway and into the bathroom.

I had showered before talking on the phone with Dean the night before. Konner decided it would be best to drive me home when it started raining. Somehow I think that agreeing to let him drive me home in the rain helped. I faced my fear head-on with the help of my incredible boyfriend who always knew how to make me feel all mushy inside.

I sat down on the toilet and peed. I changed my underwear, put on my knee highsI slipped up my shorts and left the bathroom after flushing.

Still in my t-shirt from the night before, I changed and put on a bra, a tank top and my lovely school polo. I did my usual morning routine and just when I was ready, I was met with the sound of Konner's honking pick-up.

"Good morning gorgeous," Konner said, as I slid into the passenger side door.

"Good morning hottie," I said.

"You flatter me baby," Konner laughed. "How'd you sleep?"

"For the first time...good," I said. "Why?"

"Our first night together wasn't exactly quiet. You kept telling me to hold you because you were afraid you wouldn't wake up," Konner said.

"Oh," I muttered. "Sorry."

"Nothing to be sorry about, Meg," Konner laughed. "You turned me on when you started speaking Spanish in your sleep."

"You turned me on when - forget it," I said, covering up a perverted comment I was about to make.

"Okay," Konner said.

"I love how you're so perfect and I have the most flaws in the world! Ugh, I'm jealous of you," I said.
