Rose's POV

"Attention McKinley students. I have just been informed that the McKinley High Student Council has voted to approve the First Annual Senior Lock-In this weekend." Sue's voices rings through the halls. I smile widely and everyone cheers. "And I regret to inform you that I'm cancelling this event, due to budget cuts, safety concerns, and- oh, I don't know- let's say Obamacare." I frown as everyone then groans. I begin to tear up as people begin to walk again.

As Sam and Blaine near me, I slide down the wall. "Oh, Rose- oh, my gosh, are you okay?" Sam runs to me. "The lock-in was cancelled!" I choke as tears begin to slip out. "Oh, Rose, why are you so worried about it? We just thought of it yesterday." Blaine frowns. "I know it would have been our first lock-in, Blaine, but it would have been our last lock-in, Blaine, and now, we don't have that at all!" I exclaim. "Every day that passes is another day closer to never seeing each other ever again!" Sam rubs my arm comfortingly.

"Okay, okay, okay, okay, um, uh..." Blaine bends down next to me. "How about this? How about... how about we, um, have our own lock-in? Just the three of us? Oh, Hunter could come, too. How would we feel about that." Blaine suggests. "Yeah." Sam agrees. "How would we manage that?" I question. "Easy. Here's what we'll do, okay? We'll climb in through one of the choir room windows. We'll leave one unlocked, and no one will ever notice." Sam answers.

"Yeah, how about it, Rose? What do you say?" Blaine smiles at me. I nod. "All right. Let's get you up." Blaine takes one of my arms. Let's get you out of here." Sam takes my other arm and they help me up. "Okay. Now, Rose, I've been meaning to ask you. Is your butt getting bigger? Is that possible?" Sam tries to cheer me up. "Sam, I still have a boyfriend. I boyfriend that I need to see." I pull my self away from them. "I'll see you guys later." I wave to them and they wave back.

Hunter stands at the end of the hall. "Hunter!" I yell getting his attention. He walks over to me quickly. He cups my cheeks in his hands. "Baby, were you crying?" He asks, worriedly. "It was just graduation tears, I promise." I laugh lightly. "Okay." He responds. Connecting our lips is the way he makes me feel even better. I know it's awful, but I feel as though we haven't talked in forever. "Oh, before I forget." I pull away and he furrows his eyebrows. "Do you want to join Blaine, Sam, and I for a lock-in night?"

"Principal Sylvester told us it was cancelled." He reminds me. "Don't tell anyone, but we're going to sneak in." I whisper. "Oh. Uh, sure." He agrees quickly. He pecks my lips quickly and we begin to walk to class.

Blaine grunts as he pulls himself through the choir room window. "Come on. Come on." He falls to the other side. "Night Bird." I hear him say. I throw my shoes to the choir room floor. "Okay, you made this way more difficult that it need to be. Just for the record." I gracefully land on the other side and retrieve my shoes. Hunter follows me, then Sam after him. "Any excuse to put on that costume." Sam sighs looking at Blaine. "Well, it's the last chance I get to put it on, unless I'm in come kind of creepy fetish club." Blaine chuckles.

"Shh. Did you guys hear that?" Hunter inquires. "Hear what?" My voice sounds alarmed. "The sound of an epic senior lock-in about to start?" Sam finishes. We begin to sing 'Don't You Forget About Me.'

[Sam]

Hey, hey, hey, hey
Ooh, ooh, ooh-ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh, oh
Won't you come see about me

I'll be alone
Dancing, you know it, baby

[Blaine]

Tell me your troubles and doubts
Giving me everything inside and out and, uh

[Hunter]

Love's strange
So real in the dark
Think  of the tender things that we were working on

[Rose]

Slow change may pull us apart

When the light gets into your heart, baby

[All]

Don't you forget about me
Don't, don't, don't, don't
Don't you forget about me
As you walk on by
Will you call my name
As you walk on by
Will you call my name
When you walk away
La-la-la-la

La-la-la-la
(Sam:
 Come on, call my name
Will you call my name)
La-la-la-la
La-la-la-la
(Blaine: Come on, come on)
(Hunter: Call my name)
La, la-la-la-la
(Hunter: Call my name)
La-la-la-la-la
(Blaine: You can call my name)
La-la-la

La-la-la-la-la-la-la
La-la-la-la
(Blaine: Yeah)
La-la-la-la
(Hunter: You can call my name)
La-la-la
La-la-la-la-la-la-la-
(Hunter: Oh, yeah)
La-la-la-la
(Hunter: Yeah)
La-la-la-la
You can call my name
You can call my name

"Busted. Your fat asses are mine." Becky shines flashlights in our eyes. "Ouch." I whisper and put my face in Hunter's shoulder. Becky leads us to the auditorium. "Let's get this party started! 11-hour energies for everybody!" Becky whoops. "Uh, we don't want to be rude, but..." I trail off quietly. "I can't hear you, Cuba! I'm too busy drinkin' my 11-hour energies! Oh, yeah, baby!" Becky yells. Sam and I share a confused look.

"Don't you think you need to slow down a little bit on the energy drinks there, Becky?" Sam asks her. "By the way, how did you even get in here?" Hunter questions. "I climbed through the window, fool!" Becky responds. "It's time for Twister! Every time you fall down, you drink one of these." Becky explains the rules. "Becky, we'll die." Sam tells her as I drop my jaw. "Party in the U.S.A.!" Becky whoops again. "All right, that-that sounds really fun, um, but we were thinking that we would just do our own thing tonight." Blaine states. "Think again, Gay Blaine! If you don't play Twister with me, I'm calling the cops. Oh, snap!" Becky throws 11-hour energy at Blaine. This will be a great night.

"All right. All right, all right, all right." Mr. Shue claps as he walks in. "Come on. Okay! Ladies and Gentlemen, one week until Nationals." We all cheer and applaud. "Okay, I was planning on ordering dinner in and working you guys deep into the night, but then I realized that worrying too much about what you're trying to accomplish actually gets in the way of what you're trying to accomplish." Mr. Shue explains and Sam nods in understanding. "And as a coach who knows what a national championship team looks like, I have to say..." I raise my eyebrows. "you guys are ready." He finishes.

"Except for one thing. Don't forget your sunblock because this time next week, we are gonna be in sunny Los Angeles." Mr. Shue says excitedly. We all clap and laugh. "Wait, Mr. Shue, Mr. Shue." Blaine interrupts and stands up, walking next to Mr. Shue. "So, for us seniors, this is one of our last Glee Club meetings. It's kind of a big deal. We were wondering if we could just do one last number." Blaine wonders. "Yes, please." Mr. Shue pleads.

"And we wanted to ask Artie, Josh, Hunter, and Tina to be a part of the trio with us." Sam speaks. "Yeah, if memory serves, a quartet is 25% more powerful. Imagine what seven of us could do." I smile. "I was right." Artie brags as the four of them come up to us. We sing Wilson Phillips' 'Hold on'.

I'm really going to miss them.
